Scenario A85 APQP Efficient Project Management with ControlPlan
This scenario is made up of several building blocks containing the preconfiguration required for the APQP EfficientProject Management with Control Plan scenario. Building blocks can help you to implement the solution and put intoproduction quickly.
To illustrate the scenario presented in this overview document, the business view, the interaction view, and the componentview, provide three different perspectives on the business scenario.
Business View
The business view shows the business partners participating in the APQP Efficient Project Management with ControlPlan scenario, the business environment, and the business requirements, and benefits for the parties involved.
Interaction View
The interaction view shows the business landscape, process flow and explains the detailed steps required to carry outthe scenario.

Information Synchronization Solution for OEM and Supplier in SAP BP
Standard template delivered for APQP Different roles and authorizations are pre-defined A control plan is generated, and can be transferred to back-end systems OEM transparency enabled

Supplier Tier 2
Supplier Tier 1 OEMSupplier Tier 2
A business scenario for APQP project management starts by creating a project following the APQP standard. Roles andauthorization should be defined for different parties. Interactive operations between the QM, PM, and engineer at the
supplier side are then processed.
A practical control plan should be created during the procedure, and be seamlessly linked to the quality execution
system.
The OEM should also have the possibility to check the working procedures and related documentation through a certain
system.

Management with Control Plan shows the full project management cycle

A guideline for APQP is included in TS16949 and QS9000, which contains the general requirements on how
the supplier should handle a new product development project to meet the customer requirements by planning
the product and process quality in advance.
In this scenario, the basic requirements from the APQP manual are included in a project template, for
preparing plans and checklists, to ensure that Advanced Product Quality Planning is actually carried out at the
supplier.
