Harriet Tubman had other siblings but Mr. Brodas sold
every one of them but Harriet to the south.
FACTHarriet Tubman was called Moses
because she sang a song of “Moses” and freedom.
This is Harriet’s statue.
This is another statue of Harriet but it is different in color.
Harriet had a talent. When she crossed the woods she didn’t make a sound. Her
dad had taught her to tiptoe in the woods, Go in mud to loose your scented trail so the catchers wouldn’t track her down, and how to not
get cut in the branches or to flick your eye.
FactHarriet Tubman used the north star to lead her to freedom. Her
dad said late at night look for the north star and it will be your
guide.
This is the North Star. This is what Harriet used to guide her and
others to FREEDOM.
