Harriet Tubman was born 1820 or 1821 and she lived in Bucktown , Maryland. Harriet had a Mom and a Dad and 10 relatives. She wanted to be free! Because she was a slave . (A slave was some one who had to work for someone.)

Special Talents And AbilitiesHarriet was a strong as a adult boy. She was also

proud that she was one of the few to escape. She used her talents to help slaves escape.

Challenges and Problems

Harriet had a really big problem. She had to bring slaves to the north to be free . Harriet dealed with this problem because she could do it , but it was dangers'. Conductors helped her with it.

When Harriet was 13 a slave escaped so a overseer said”Harriet get him.She said “NO” so the overseer got a metal brick and tried throwing it at the runaway slave but… it hit Harriet!
