What are the Brazilian Student Ambassadors? The Brazilian Student Ambassadors are a group of Brazilian students at Harvard who work in coordination with Harvard’s Brazil Studies Program in Cambridge and Brazil Office in São Paulo to strengthen outreach and resources available to faculty, students and staff. The group facilitates coordination across Harvard’s Schools and helps increase Brazil-Harvard engagement within the University and throughout Brazil. Student Ambassadors help us: Identify faculty and students interested in Brazil; Mentor potential applicants, admitted students and current students; Host Brazilian visitors; Identify opportunities for Visiting Scholars and Researchers from Brazil. What are the Brazilian Student Ambassadors?

The Brazilian Student Ambassadors are a group of Brazilian students at Harvard who work in coordination with Harvard’s Brazil Studies Program in Cambridge and Brazil Office in São Paulo to strengthen outreach and resources available to faculty, students and staff. The group facilitates coordination across Harvard’s Schools and helps increase Brazil-Harvard engagement within the University and throughout Brazil.

Who are the Brazilian Student Ambassadors?

There are currently 19 Brazilian Student Ambassadors who represent 11 of Harvard’s 12 principal academic units. These students were selected by Harvard’s DRCLAS Brazil Office in São Paulo and Brazil Studies Program in Cambridge based on their enthusiasm and demonstrated commitment to increasing Brazil-Harvard engagement within the University and throughout Brazil.
