As we are all unable to go on holiday at the moment, why not plan a fantasy holiday? Choose a location and research how much it would cost for your family to get there, accommodation, activities etc. It can be anywhere in the world!

Have a go at this animal shape game –

Research something you are really interested in and create a PowerPoint presentation on it. Then share it on Teams. We could have a ‘PowerPoint of the week’ competition😊

Dear Primary 5,

We have put slightly less in the grid this week as it would’ve been an in-service day on Monday and holiday on Friday. It’s been lovely to connect with some of you and to see some of the amazing things you’ve been doing at home. Keep up the good work and keep having some fun too!

Take careMiss Murphy and Miss Welsh

Character DescriptionHe sat, slumped upon a large tree stump, his booted feet resting on the ground. Beads of sweat trickled down his dirty and tired face and his dark brown hair clung to the back of his neck. Beneath his helmet, his eyes showed his pain, they were vacant and lonely. His hand tightly clenched his shining sword, which was glistening in the golden sunlight. The sword sat proudly, eyeing anybody who sighted it in a menacing manor. In his other hand, the soft, leathery reins which led up to his magnificent white stallion who towered about the soldier like a tower. The man glanced at the white beast and slowly rose to his aching feet. He’d been working for days, yet still there was no end in sight. Silently and powerfully he swung on to his horse’s back and his booing voice called to him to trot. In a moment, the powerful stead made off, and the aging man bravely carried on his way, moving further and further away from his life to save his country.
