Ultrasound Carcass & Performance Data Available!All bulls will be fully guaranteed, with performance records, semen tested, and scrotal measurements taken before hand, and will be available sale day.

Free delivery to all Nebraska buyers and up to 100 mile radius of Walsh Simmentals, providing the purchase price is $2,000.00 or more. Bull delivery will begin around April 1, 2015.

All bulls will be kept free of charge until April 1st with a normal daily feed charge after April 1st.

We are offering $100.00 per head, to be deducted from sale price if bulls are loaded out sale day or the following day.

We would like to welcome everyone to our annual bull and female sale. First and foremost we would like to thank our valued repeat customers who have had faith in our program over the years and their continued support.

We have culled hard over the years to produce what the commercial cattlemen want, a moderate framed, calving ease bull, with as much growth as possible while still maintaining the maternal side to produce replacement females.

We believe this to be the best set of bulls we have put together to date. Quite a few are out of first calf heifers or females that have proven their value. This set of bulls have as much muscle and mass that you could pack into a 5.5 to 6.5 frame and still maintain a stylish look that is right for the times.

The females are right out of the keeper pen with a high quality set of heifers that would be hard to find anywhere. They are the results of our AI and E.T. program we have used for many years, to improve our genetics.

First, determine which index to use; if you’re keeping replacements use API, if not, TI. Then, just as with EPDs, zero in on the unit difference between bulls. (As described to the left, index units are in dollars per cow exposed.) The difference can be used to determine how much a bull is worth compared to another. Or, put another way, how much you can pay for one bull compared to another. For example, when buying an all-purpose-type sire, you can quickly figure a bull scoring +100 for API is worth an extra $6,000 over a $50 bull if both are exposed to 30 cows over 4 years ($50 diff. x 30 hd. x 4 yr. = $6,000).
