We purchased our first Simmentals back in 1974 and have stayed with the breed ever since. We would like to thank all those who supported us at the Advantage Sale in the past and we wish the consignors of the Advantage Sale all the best. We take pride in our cattle and what we do. Our bulls and heifers come to you out of the industry’s leading A.I sires. Our herd is built around strong cow families that have been very consistent over the years. All the bulls and heifers are on the Pfizer Gold program and have been treated with Ivomec. The bulls are developed on a high roughage ration that promotes growth and longevity. We are committed to the industry and are always striving to raise the best stock possible.

It is with great excitement we welcome you to the premier Erixon Bull and Female Sale. These are very exciting times to be involved in the agriculture industry. The beef sector is one that has seen tremendous growth potential and a big upswing in premium quality livestock. The Erixon family has been breeding quality Simmental seed stock for many years and has become one of the major seed stock producers in Western Canada for fresh new Simmental genetics.

As we toured the bull pen this January my first impression was the con-sistency and quality of the bulls. This is the largest group of bulls ever offered from the Erixon family and by far the deepest in quality. This super stout set are very thick, big hipped, big bodied bulls with excel-lent phenotype. They are athletic and fluid in their movement and are super hairy to top it off. The red bulls will be led off by a fantastic set of KOP Crosby embryo calves which will certainly make the most astute cattleman pay attention. The black bulls will take no back seat as they are a very deep set as well and will be highlighted by some Wheatland 680 sons who will demand your attention. These bulls are of the highest quality and have been produced by strong cow families and hours of genetic breeding decisions and a very strict culling program.

On the female side of the offering we have an excellent group of young top cut heifers for offer. These females come from the heart of the replacement pen. As the bulls, they have some of the freshest and most sought after genetics behind them and all stem from proven cow families that make this program as successful as it is. There will again be something on offer for everyone from that special show heifer to adding another cow family to your program or packaging up a set of replacement females. Don’t over look these girls sale day, as there is some fantastic females in this offering.

These five E.T brothers have been standouts since birth and have gotten better with time. It is not everyday that you find the depth of flank that these five bulls have. They have lots of jam behind them, loads of thick hair and come off a perfect, and I mean perfect uddered cow. 2P is a cow that has more than proven herself with a female working in Tymarc’s herd and a female going to Czech Mate Simmentals in the 2008 pick of the
