We welcome your helpful information and suggestions. Metal We do not see castings imported fro Asia. The iron being used for our stove castings has a high phosphorus content, which is resistant to heat distortion. Identification This catalogue will help stove owners to replace burnt or broken castings. We have designed the layout for easy reference. If in doubt, please check your customer’s casting against our photographs. Usually the shape of the required casting is recognised by the customer looking at the photographs. We enclose a schedule listed in the photograph’s reference number order. This helps you to find the casting’s detail, which is listed alphabetically in the catalogue and price list. Some castings look alike, in which case it is wise to check the dimensions make, model and other detail listed. If this fails to identify a casting, we may be able to do so from a dimensioned sketch. Finally we may be able to reproduce the original shape of the warped casting, if it is sent to us with a sketch, giving the correct dimensions to fit the stove or heater.
