VPN Instructions for iPhone or iPad

Installation and Configuration

You can install the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility client for Apple iOS from the Apple App Store, as follows:

1. Open the App Store.

2. Select Search. 3. In the Search Box, enter anyconnect and tap cisco anyconnect in the Suggestions list. 4. Tap AnyConnect. 5. Tap Free, then INSTALL APP. 6. Select Install.7. Tap the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client icon.

8. A confirmation opens the first time you start AnyConnect on the device, tap OK.

9. Tap Add VPN Connection Note: Figure on the right shows the screen for the iPad.

10. Enter the following to configure the BRG VPN:

a. Description: BRG VPNb. Server Address: vpn.brgeneral.org

11. Tap Save

Establishing a VPN Connection

PrerequisitesEnsure that you are not connected to BRGWNET wireless network. You must have a LAN connection or a connection to your service provider outside of the hospital network.

Detailed Steps1. Open the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client icon.

2. Tap ON

3. You will be prompted to login.

a. Make sure the GHSSSL Group is selected.b. Enter your Usernamec. Enter your Password

4. Tap Connect5. You will see Status Connected as well as VPN listed in iPhone/iPad status bar.

6. To disconnect, open Cisco AnyConnect and tap OFF
