Part I: Installing Splashtop Streamer [PC]1. Locate and left click the item "Splashtop Streamer 1.7.5.6 (OCIO)"2. Wait until the installation is complete3. Afterwards Splashtop Streamer should be started automatically



Part II: Starting Splashtop Streamer [PC]Launch Splashtop Streamer from Start menu if it is not opened yet

1. Type in and confirm a security code2. Press Save

* The security code must be 8 to 20 alphanumeric characters long with at least one number and oneletter. (e.g. cityu2012, elearn12, 2012622a)



Part II: Starting Splashtop Streamer [PC]1. Press Yes to start splashtop streamer



Part II: Starting Splashtop Streamer [PC]1. Splashtop is now ready to be connected by other devices2. Jot down the displayed IP address (e.g. 144.214.132.16)3. You can start to setup your mobile devices to remote the PC



Part III: Connecting to Splashtop Streamer [iPad]1. Launch Splashtop Remote on iPad2. Press the + button

* To connect to the client, make sure the mobile device is connected to CityU wireless network (e.g.CityU WLAN (WPA))



Part III: Connecting to Splashtop Streamer [iPad]1. Type in the computer name to identify the connecting client2. Type in the IP address (should match the one displayed on PC)3. Type in the security code (should match the code previously entered on PC)4. Press Save



Part III: Connecting to Splashtop Streamer [iPad]1. Press the item that just created2. Start remoting the desktop



Part IV: Disconnecting from Splashtop Streamer [iPad]1. Press the button open the bottom right corner of the application



Part IV: Disconnecting from Splashtop Streamer [iPad]1. Press the button on the top right corner of the expanded keyboard



Part IV: Disconnecting from Splashtop Streamer [iPad]1. Press the disconnect icon on the far left2. You are now disconnected from the client



Part V: Shutdown Splashtop Client [PC]1. Right click the Splashtop Streamer icon in the dock2. Select Exit from the context menu3. Splashtop Streamer will be terminated
