A few items to call to your attention:

1) As Tommy and Hannah Moore get settled into our church family, please help them learn who you are by introducing yourself each time you see them. It is hard learning names here, especially with so many visitors each week.

2) In case you haven’t picked up on it yet, the summer series I am preaching on Sunday mornings is about the church. It’s called: “…and There’s the People!” You remember the old rhyme don’t you? “Here’s the church, here’s the steeple, open the door and there’s the people.” Each week, we will focus on a different aspect of being the people of God. Come, join us!

3) We typically do not have a Wednesday night service during the week of July 4. However, since our study of Jeremiah will be interrupted by the Quarterly Business Conference on July 13 and by Vacation Bible School on July 20, we WILL have a prayer and study time on July 6 at 7:00 p.m. The Men’s group will meet on July 6 and 13, at 6:45 p.m. in C-101, to continue working through Reggie McNeal’s, Get a Life!

Sunday, October 23—Saturday, October 29, 2011: we’re going to Nashville, TN! Six nights and seven days—total cost of $585, with a deposit of $200 required when you sign up!! Balance will be collected in two equal payments. Cost includes: 6 breakfasts, 4 dinners, 2 great shows, and lots of sightseeing! Call Bill Bowman, 390-4258, or pick up a brochure in the North Hallway. This trip will fill up fast, so don’t delay!

Blessings,

Steve
