Thank you to all that participated last year, it was wonderful!!! Our 162 pillowcases went
to the first wave of the USS San Diego along with 500 others.
Here are some thank you notes we received from the USS San Diego :
To All Stitch n’ Snip Quilters,
I’d like to send a personal thank you from afar! I received an AWESOME USMC Pillowcase
today. It simply looks amazing and I appreciate you taking your personal time to make it. People
like you are the constant reminders of why we do what we do. Thanks again! Sincerely, D. Martin
Thank you so much for the hard work and time you put in to making the pillowcase. I am out here
on the USS San Diego on Deployment, I have done many deployments before but this one is the
hardest because my family has grown over the years. And it's the small things like a pillowcase
from someone that don't even know me lifts the spirits and puts smiles on faces thank you once
more. EN1 Mckay
I can’t properly describe the happiness that your pillowcases brought to the guys in my unit.
Morale has been pretty low lately and I must say that your gifts have brought smiles to many
faces. Trevin
