What is Personality?

• Personality is defined as the patterns of behavior and ways of thinking and feeling that are distinctive for each individual.

Describe your personality?

Brainstorm your personality traits.

• Create a list that describes your individual personality traits.

• Then decide whether or not you were born with these traits or if they were learned.

At Home

• Interview your parents and ask them individually, to describe your personality.

• Then ask them to decide whether you were born with these traits or if they were learned.

Page 22: Unit 3: Socialization

• Bring the results of interview, written out in short essay form. The response can be hand written or typed. It should be around a paragraph for each parent or guardian. So 1 paragraph per interview.

• We will be in the computer lab tomorrow.

• We will discuss the results of the interviews and our lab work on Thursday.
