PRAYER OF CONFESSION Because You dwell in our hearts, Eternal God, You know how the anger, the pain, the bitterness of our thoughts try to edge You out. The noise of the world deafens us to Your Word which would heal us. We want to be good, kind, and gentle, and then hear ourselves call others names, or speak of ourselves with demeaning words. Our desire for revenge toward those who have hurt us shows active rejection of Your peace. You promise a new heaven and a new earth. Create new spirits and new lives within us, Healing God. Shattered by our sin, we are paradoxically closer to Your healing. Your Spirit, living deep within our souls, can teach us faithful ways. Your Word, Jesus Christ our Lord, tells us of Your mercy, Your hope, Your love.

SCRIPTURE READING: Acts 16:9-15 (NRSV, Pew Bible p. 900) 9 During the night Paul had a vision: there stood a man of Macedonia pleading with him and saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” 10 When he had seen the vision, we immediately tried to cross over to Macedonia, being convinced that God had called us to proclaim the good news to them. 11 We set sail from Troas and took a straight course to Samothrace, the following day to Neapolis, 12 and from there to Philippi, which is a leading city of the district of Macedonia and a Roman colony. IGNITE YOUTH -- God does not call us to be “lukewarm” believers. He wants all of our hearts, all of the time. Let’s grow together and learn how to ignite our faith so that we can do our best to always be believers on fire for Christ. Open to all youth ages 6th grade through 18 years old. Sundays year-round at 10:15 AM, and Tuesdays during the school year from 3:30-5:30 PM in the Youth Room. INTERSECTIONS CLASS is currently studying and discussing the book The Divine Dance: The Trinity and Your Transformation by Richard Rohr and Michael Morrell. This book delves into the central doctrine of the Trinity using one of the metaphors of the early church leaders who described the one God who is three persons as a divine dance. The book discusses how a deeper conception of Father, Son and Holy Spirit can transform our relationship with God and renew our lives. All are welcome. Sundays at 9:00 AM in the Sicatuva Room.

TRINITY 4KIDS is our program for children up to 5th grade. We meet year-round on Sundays at 8:30 AM and 10:15 AM in the Children's Center (through Grace Mitchell and downstairs). PER CAPITA - The Presbytery of Grand Canyon approved the 2019 Per Capita apportionment at $36.25 per member. The Per Capita apportionment helps sustain the mission of the Presbytery, the Synod of the Southwest and the General Assembly. Per Capita gifts should be made payable to Trinity, and will be forwarded on to the Presbytery.

APPLAUSE: Exceptional Performers, Experiencing Theater Together! APPLAUSE is a peer-based program of our Park Avenue Theater ministry that is designed especially for kids with special needs and abilities (ages K-12th grade) to learn

different aspects of the theater alongside our Park Avenue Theater mentors (ages 6th grade-18 years). We are looking for APPLAUSE performers and mentors. If interested, see the flyer in the wall bins in the hallway outside of the church office door for all the details.

PRESCOTT AREA SHELTER SERVICES (PASS) needs donations of toilet tissue, paper towels, laundry detergent and cleaning supplies for their family residents. CONGREGATIONAL CARE: If you are recovering from an injury or surgery and need help with grocery shopping, rides to medical appointments, etc., please call 928-925-0057. Assistance is provided by volunteers from your church family.
