Problem with Glue System


- Used Araldit AW 106/AW116 with Hardener HV953U

- Sticky surface after curing time

- Problem in Producing Hardener HV 953 U since 2004

Decision


- Stop the TRD Production

Mechanical and electrical Properties

Chemical Composition was changed

- Get a Charge of an modifcated Hardener to test the

mech. and electr. Properties

Test mechanical Properties


- cured Glue min. 24h under different

climatic Conditions

Shore Hardness is 60

- Observed Different Surface Quality, it depends on the

Huminidity and the retention time in Air

Humidity rel. 2% - 50%Temperature 23 º C – 40 º C

- Production Mode to build 2 TRD Chambers / 7 Working Days
