HIGH POLLUTION ADVISORY
• Aggressively promote and publicize high pollution advisories
• Hold prize drawings for employees who use an alternative mode on HPA days
• Tracking is tricky: Keep a list and check it twice
• Keep receipts for expenses; get signatures from winners

SHARETHERIDE REWARDS

• Employees get an incentive for registering or for contacting potential carpoolers/choosing a route
• Tracking: Receipts for expenses; acknowledgment from winners

ZIP CODE MATCHING
• Post zip code maps on TRP bulletin boards and electronic B-board
• Employees guess how many others live in their zip code; ballot boxes in each department
• Prize drawing held from all who guessed correctly. Results posted and the winner’s photo placed on the electronic bulletin board.
• Follow up: Publish a zip map with the employee counts so people see how many potential carpool members live near them.
