Marc Adamus’s reputation precedes him and he is unquestionably responsi-ble for the wow factor in modern land-scape photography. Marc pioneered his original style creating groundbreaking images while others played catch up.

Marc’s style is unmistakable. His talent for rare captures of amazing light and fleeting atmosphere imbue his portfo-lio with a sense of the epic, majestic and the bold. His success derives from patient single-minded pursuit of all the unique moments that generate the magic and energy of the wilderness.

Marc’s photographs have been pub-lished extensively worldwide in a large variety of media ranging from calen-dars, books, advertising and the publi-cations of National Geographic, Outdoor Photographer, Popular Photography and over a hundred more. Marc’s cli-ents have included Fortune-500 com-panies such as Apple, HP, Toshiba, Blackberry and more, in addition to wilderness focused enterprises such as the Wilderness Society and Sierra Club.

The workshop commences at 11am Monday 7th at our meet up on the Causeway Coast. Marc will provide an introductory chat about his work and style as well as a low down on what you can expect to learn over the next few days.

You will then go out for a sunset shoot, with Michael McLaughlin working the locations while Marc provides the inspi-ration and technique.

It really is a unique chance to see how a genuine master works.

Day 2 will entail sunrise and sunset shoots as well as an in-depth look at Marc processing techniques, Day 3 will see the end of the workshop with breakfast and goodbyes after the sun-rise shoot.

You will be staying in comfortable lodg-ings in the Causeway Hotel with the chance to avail of conferencing facili-ties for the editing sessions on day 2.

Joel Tjintjelaar is widely recognised as a groundbreaking photographer and artist within the genre of long expo-sure black and white. His work has been exhibited in galleries throughout the world and he is currently repre-sented in New York, Washington and Amsterdam. He has won numerous awards for his work including 1st place finishes in the International Photo Awards (IPA).

Joel’s personal method of Black and White post-processing, called iSGM, that was developed between 2009 and 2010, and first made public early 2011, is a method of post-processing in black and white, that is being increasingly used amongst black and white enthusi-asts and professionals alike.

Attending a workshop with Joel is not just a chance to tap into his unique vision and vast array of experience, but an opportunity to learn first hand his in house methods for processing and toning black and white. The results speak for themselves.

The workshop commences at 7 pm on Wednesday, October 2nd at a Dublin based hotel. The workshop will begin with a welcome chat and a discussion about the days ahead. Thursday and Friday will include sunrise and sun-set shoots with classroom sessions in between and lunch. The workshop will finish at lunch time on Saturday. Its an action packed 3 days where Joel will take through his entire process in the field and also post-production.

Peter and Ed will also be on hand o help you with composition and the technical execution of Joel’s workflow.

Peter will also be guiding the workshop drawing on his recent success with Dublin Salt and his in depth knowledge of Dublin locations.
