few days each spring in Fujian Province,

China, when the tea plants are emerging

from their winter dormancy. The buds

Green and red rooibos come from the

same plant (Aspalathus linearis), but

the difference is in the curing process.

Immediately after harvest, green rooibos

is lightly steamed to halt oxidation,

retaining the green color in the leaves.

(The stalks are naturally red.) The result

is a light-colored cup with smooth,

herbaceous notes. Enjoy our assortment
