CCD COORDINATOR NEEDED Angela Alvarado has been serving as the CCD Coordinator for the past year. She has done a terrific job, but unfortunately will not be able to continue in this position. We are in need of a new CCD Coordinator. The person should enjoy working with children, love sharing their faith and be organized. Responsibilities include ensuring that classes have a teacher and that the teachers have the resources they need to conduct their classes. Will also plan for First Confession and First Holy Communion in the Spring. This is a part-time, paid position. We have good textbooks and resources available. If you are interested, please call the office. This is a very rewarding job ensuring that the little ones learn more about their faith while preparing to receive two important sacraments. Fr. Eddie

KEEP CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS The Knights will be selling Religious Christ-mas cards again this year. Look for us after Mass and at our Pancake Breakfast.

Catholic Detention Ministries is requesting donations of Christmas cards and small in-dividually wrapped candies. Please only un-used Christmas cards with envelopes for the use of the inmates of the Humboldt County Correctional Facility. The facility requests that candies remain in their uno-pened store packages in which they are sold for safety reasons. This is a combined effort of the local Catholic churches to put together 375 packages, one for each inmate. This has been much appreciated by the inmates in the past. These people do not have a source of cards to send to their families, so these cards are very welcome. The can-dies provide a little something nice for the-se people who find little joy on Christ-mas. Please leave donations at the church or church office no later than Monday De-cember 10th for pickup.
