CR SPRING CONCERT College of the Redwoods will present their Spring choir concert at St. Jo-seph Church on Sunday, May 10 at 7 p.m. The CR Singers will perform "A Little Jazz Mass" by Bob Chilcot.

Composed in 2004, this Latin Missa Brevis has in-fluences of the blues and up tempo jazz. It s a very expressive combination of two diverse traditions. In addition they will sing a collection of American folk songs such as Simple Gifts, Shenandoah, and Pretty Little Horses. To round out the program are soloists from the choir doing musical theatre pieces. There is no cost for the concert.
