SS Simon and Jude CE Primary School Weekly Home Learning Tasks Year Group: Ladybirds Week beginning: 25.05.20 Half term fun activities! Paint a rock to make someone smile. You could perhaps hide it when you are out for a walk. Someone else would love to find your rock, and it would definitely make them smile! Enjoy some water play! You could use the washing up bowl, a paddling pool or a plastic box. You could fill it with water and make some bubbles. Perhaps you could wash a doll or clean some cars. Go on a colour hunt. Find as many things as you can that are different colours. Now sort them so that all objects that are the same colour are grouped together. Have a Cinema afternoon. Which film would you like to watch? You could make some cinema snacks to enjoy too. Build an obstacle course. You could do this indoors or outside. You could use things from around your home to help you. Perhaps you could balance or travel over and under. Help an adult to make a delicious snack. Make something new that you haven’t tried before. Play a game of ‘Simon says’. Remember to only follow the instruction when Simon says. Maybe you could touch your nose, ears, knees, feet or elbow. Where else could Simon tell you to touch? Make a den. Use your imagination to think about what you could use it for? Who could you share your den with? Where could you build it? Use a cardboard box and your imagination, What could your turn your cardboard box into? Where could it take you? What is it called? Can it fly? Does it have wheels?
