Here is how you can switch over to our new electronic giving

program:

1. Click on the Faith Direct Blue Button to sign up (this will direct you to our new electronic giving website).

2. Click on the green button that say’s “Enroll in Recurring eGiving”.

3. From there follow the directions to set up your electronic recurring gift.

4. The last step will ask you to create a password; this allows you to be able to log back into your Faith Direct

Account anytime and make changes or additions to your giving.

5. Once you are signed up for Faith Direct, we at the Parish receive an email. Once we receive that email we

immediately log on to our old eGiving site and cancel your account.

If you have any questions, need help, or would like to receive confirmation that your old eGiving account is

canceled, please email Erica Pulliam at epulliam@simonjude.org with your contact information included and I

will contact by phone or email.

Dear Parishioners, The time has come for me to say goodbye and move on to my next assignment. It's very sad to do so under such circumstances, but I know the Lord continues to watch over us all. I first became acquainted with the Cathedral in the summer of 2017, when I was still a transitional deacon with one year left to go in seminary. It's hard to believe how fast time has gone by. I want to sincerely thank you parishioners, Bishop Olmsted, Fr. Lankeit, Fr. Ramirez, Fr. Umaña, Sr. Raphael and all the rest of the wonderful staff of the parish and school for making my first priestly assignment such a blessing. I hope I served you well and I am sorry if I failed you in any way. You will always be in my prayers. Bishop Olmsted is now sending me to the John Paul II Institute in Washington DC, where I will study towards a Licentiate degree in marriage and family studies. I will return to the Diocese of Phoenix in two years to resume my service. I will continue to live at the parish until my departure in mid-August and will help with a few Masses. sower and we know that, “some seed fell

on rich soil, and produced fruit, a hundred

or sixty or thirty fold.”

Queridos feligreses, El momento ha llegado para despedirme y pasar a mi próxima asignación. Es muy triste hacerlo bajo estas circunstancias, pero sé que el Señor sigue cuidando de nosotros. Me familiaricé con la catedral durante el verano de 2017, cuando era diácono transitorio y me faltaba un año para graduarme del seminario. Es difícil de creer que el tiempo haya pasado tan rápido. Quisiera agradecer a ustedes feligreses, al Obispo Olmsted, al Padre Lankeit, al Padre Ramirez, al Padre Umaña, a la Hna. Raphael y las demás Hermanas de Loreto y a todo el personal y todos los estudiantes de esta parroquia y escuela por bendecir tanto mi primera asignación sacerdotal. Espero que les haya servido bien y les pido disculpas si les haya fallado en algo. Siempre estarán en mis oraciones. El Obispo Olmsted me está mandando al Pontificio Instituto Teológico Juan Pablo II en Washington, DC para obtener una licenciatura en teología del matrimonio y familia. Volveré a la Diócesis de Phoenix en dos años. Por ahora, seguiré viviendo aquí en la parroquia hasta que me vaya para Washington a mediados de agosto. Jesús siempre está con nosotros.
