On average, within 24 hours, over 7 500 passenger

and freight trains travel on the Polish railway tracks*.

Every day approx. 1700 people watch over

the traffic flow on railway tracks.

Almost 92 passenger and freight railway undertakings take advantage of our services.

We are responsible for the timetable construction

for passenger, freight and special-purpose trains,

which is prepared at the request and in line with the guidelines

provided by our customers - railway undertakings.

Thanks to the connection search engine,

network and poster timetables published on

• For several years, PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. cooperate with secondary and

higher schools.

• At present, the Company cooperates with 40 schools that educate:

• Railway transport technicians,

• Railway lines and engineering structures technician

• Railway control system automation technician,

• Technician in field of electro-engineering in rail transport

• For over 8 years, there has been a scholarship program for the best high school

students;

Within the Scholarship Program PKP Polish Railway Lines S.A :

• pays scholarships for the most talented pupils,

• provides students with the possibility of internships and apprenticeship under the

guidance of experienced practitioners,

• delegates nearly 100 employees of the Company who are teachers of vocational

subjects in schools,

• helps schools and teachers in initiatives promoting the railway industry.

The most important assumptions of the Scholarship Program:

• the quality and effectiveness of the program for the Company,

• adjusting the number of scholarship holders in individual fields of study to the

real employment needs of the Company - a scholarship program targeted at those

areas whose graduates will be able to fill vacancies,

holders.
