How does your media product present particular social groups

In my two minutes opening of my movie, it has two social groups which are

•Young Teenagers

•Crime Lord (Boss)

Young teenagers are presented using more slang words and usually swear whilst having a conversation. The tone of their voice while talking, for example while Raihan (The character who came out of prison) he came out and his friends asked him how he is and he did talk to them but in a way he is not interested, for example they did not have much eye contact which signifies that is rude and it’s presented in that way. Whilst the character Raihan is in the phone he immediately uses a swear word. This is a common representation of the teenage boys today.

Young Teenagers

Crime LordWhile Moshin was talking to Raihan

on the phone, he was much relaxed and calm which shows that he is much mature and he was like Raihan once and now has changed, and when Raihan was talking to him he was in a panic but Moshin didn’t react in the same way. Also Raihans body language shows us he is much more panicky. However Moshins body language is calm and professional as he hardly moves which connotes that he is in control of the situation. Moshin’s costume is very smart and sophisticated. This connotes he is higher class than the other characters and very sophisticated.

Settings

The background setting for Raihan shows a dirty brick wall which shows he is from a rough area in London. Also shows today’s teenagers hang around these sort areas. Where in Moshin’s scene he is shown with a background of a business Centre area and high rise flats. In addition to this, Raihan is shown in a secluded urban area that suits his costume

The character Raihan wears a jacket and tracksuit bottoms which indicates he is a young teenager which most teenagers wear at this time of age and I also got this idea from the film ‘Anuva Hood’ which they are shown as teenagers right next to a estate which shows that they are in a poor area. This is similar to my video because Raihan comes out from the prison and walks off which could mean that he came out from somewhere local.

This picture is from the movie ‘Anuva Hood’ which they are in a estate which are wearing track suit bottoms and jacket which is similar to what Raihan wore in the Video which connotes that they are community teenagers, and may be hanging around the area.

Moshin who acted as the boss wore an blazer which makes him look like he has got power and has higher class by the dialogue that he uses so this an social group, he also wore brown leather gloves to make him look like he is the boss because there is an zoom in shot of his cloths and that immediately makes us think that his clothing is important as its zoomed in which may also show that what ever he is wearing may be worth looking at as it may be expensive because he is the Boss.

Whereas there isn't a close up shot of his cloths which may show that he is just a normal teenager and may not worth looking at because all teenagers may wear the same kind of cloths.
