not enough, I do enjoyinggaming with regularopponents. Well I do bothactually.

I also wanted to do a plug for some products fromDead Mans Hand.

I was looking online for asupplier for SAGA Vikings,as my interest wasattracted by the rulebook, see earlier in this column...

In my search for theAustralian supplier for said

Vikings, I found westernitems which I am always onthe hunt for to enhance mycollection. Hats off shouldprobably go to 4Groundand as part of Dead MansHand they have created awonderful pre-colouredwestern carriage, complete with crew, passengers and horses, and a nice old wagon, alsowith driver and horses. Ihave included somepictures of the assembledproducts in this issue.

    SEE YOU THERE

    Hi Everyone,

Welcome to issue number10. Hope you enjoy.

I used to be a GW gameronly. I shunned all otherminiatures, the differentrule sets, scales andperiods. It is only now thatI am slowly finding out,how great it was to bewrong.

    I mean, I still love WH40k,Warhammer (3rd Edition),Necromunda, Mordheim,

Man O War, Dreadfleet,Blood Bowl and nearly allof the games that theyhave enticed me to buyand to support their newreleases, and I regret noneof my purchases.

BUThaving discoveredthe ACW miniaturesproduced by the Perrys,Warlords Bolt Action

figures and Rule sets, plusthe Ancients from thesame company (HailCaesar), and now seeingthe availability of Westerngaming terrain andminiatures and rules. Theother day my cousinloaned me a copy of theSAGA Rulebook to peruse. Now Viking and Saxon

figures are on thepurchase list, and I amhaving a ball.

With so many great sets of

rules out there andstunning miniatures andterrain to get your handson I recommend that yougo and have a look at othersystems, and see whattakes your fancy.

Garage Gamers Grouppromote all types ofminiature gaming, we are

fond of saying, so the onesyou dont see in here justmean that we haventmanaged to discover, orplay them yet.

My personal choice is28mm but I did buy theOpen Fire Flames of Warbox set, which gives agreat selection ofminiatures to use andcollect.

Star Wars X-Wing wasanother game that had me

from the start. Easy tolearn and quick to play, and the miniatures werereally great quality andcollectible.

The only down side istrying to create enoughtime to play all of these.

Being Editor of SnakeEyes I have the opportunityof gaming vicariouslythrough the pictures Ipublish of members gamesand from tournaments.Hence why I appreciatephotos sent in to besubmitted in this mini mag, however when this is just

    DEAD MANS HAND

    By Jay White

Being a lover of Muskets & TomahawksI've really come to love the cinematicstyle of rules being released thesedays. DMH really delivers on a old westexperience that you grew up watching inClint Eastwood movies and thelikes. Crashing through windows andhaving a proper go at it ... just lots of fun(the game is enhanced with sound ef-fects). The "scene" approach to providinga mini-linked set of scenarios for eachgame is brilliant (of course, each scenecan be played as a stand alone game).

Everything is driven by the deck of cards -which I think is a real innovation (notcard driven mechanics, but the dual useof each card for activation or specialrules). Each player has either the redcards (hearts and diamonds), or blackcards (spades and clubs). The first 10cards are the same for each suite, withthe J-K being gang specific (you only usethem if you are using that specificgang). The turn starts with each player

flipping the top card of their (wellshuffled) deck up. The higher carddetermines who has initiative (drawing asecond card if tied). That card getsassigned to one of your gangmembers. Then each gang member getsa face down card. When everyone has acard you flip them all up and resolve themfrom highest card to lowest. Each playeralso starts with a hand of cards. Everycard has a number value (used forresolving the turn order) and specialrules. The cards in your hand are usedfor their special rules (which normallyeither help you during one of youractivations, or interrupts your opponentby providing him some disadvantage to

his actions). Each model gets threeactions (move, shoot, recover,etc.). When all models have activatedand completed their actions the turn isdone. Rinse and repeat (reshuffling thediscard pile when necessary to replenishyour deck).

That is the core of the system rightthere. No fiddling around with whostepped on a tack when scratching theirarse in the 2pm sun while facing east andsneezing ... you get the drift.

I have to say the models from their gangsare also very nice. Clean, well sculptedand easy to paint. They support the gamewith download of building signage, reference sheets, and additional "scenes"you can use to play once you've exhaust-ed those included with the book.

It is fun, fast paced and easy to pickupquickly. With low cost of entry andstunning terrain how can you pass thisby?

ners, you should now have a free

    standing structure.

If you are making a 6 x 4 tablethen you will need to mount thetwo centre legs roughly midwayalong the tables length.

A er moun ng the legs, useyour next set of skir ng to a achto the legs about 6 inches fromthe oor. This will help stabilisethe table as the corner supportswill not stop table movementwhen you lean against it.

You should now be looking atyour completed gaming table. Allthat is le now is the op on ofpain ng it a colour of your

    choice. Alterna vely you can

purchase 6mm MDF sheetsand have them cut into600mm x 600mm squares toplace on your table. Bypain ng both sides of the MDFyou now have two tables inone.

Please send any queries onthis project onto Snake Eyes, and good luck with your

    gaming tables.

However, collectors are asckle as there are ways to

collect. Some like to have thegure in its original packaging,

never opening them and intheir minds enhancing thevalue. Some may not want topaint a gure at all, believingthat by doing so the inherentvalue is diminished. Others willpaint them and place them ina display cabinet, where onthe whole they languishawai ng the occasional visitorwho will oooh and aaahh atthem.

How a collector goes aboutcollec ng and retaining theircollec on is a personal ma er.There are those who collect

ne works of art and have

them locked in vault or underelaborate security, afraid tohave them stolen or damaged.I think it is a shame that suchpieces su er this fate, and Ithink that people who collect

gures should do everything tolet others see what they have

    made with their collec on.

Proudly show of what youhave, let others know youpassion and perhaps you will

nd others who share thatsame passion.

In todays age there is so muchout there to collect. Unlessyou are rich as Midas orperhaps criminally insane, you just cant collect everythingyou want.

For the vast majority ofpeople they se le on oneperiod, company or evenar st. This is where themajority of collectors fall, happy to understand it isbe er to achieve somethingthan to go a er theimpossible.

With the wargame hobby, Ithink that it is criminal that if

you collect gures that youdont use them as part of yourarmy and actually get someenjoyment out of them.

    Project Impossible

Well the month races on and for me was a good month, and as the tle suggest it is about the ones that get away. Ineed to replace my table tennis gaming table, with something that takes up li le space when not in use. I tried togive it away but kept ge ng knocked back. Couldnt believe it. In my day we would have jumped at having a fold up

gaming table on wheels. S ll, a home for it was found. Then, to replace it with a new one more to meet my spacerequirements. I set myself a deadline and with the help of the Editor, we went looking at the local hardware store. What we found was 4 x 2 foot plas c tables with fold up legs. At home I happened to have four, 4 x 2 foot MDFsheets about 6 mm thick. Perfect. So with the purchase of 4 small plas c tables that will now t nicely on my newshelving set, I have more room than before and, I have a set of tables to allow me several variants when se ngthem up.

Next was the con nuing goal of re collec ng all of the old Warhammer Fantasy from scratch. (Lost mine in theood of 2011 in Brisbane). A big project but a fun one. I completed three with another four awai ng assembly or

pain ng. Even though while doing this, I nd that I am being drawn into other things. S ll, I thing that I have madegood ground, and can con nue later as me permits. Will keep you in the loop.

Then with Snake Eyes itself, in which I have o ered to help where I can, as Nick is doing a top job and deserves it.The Eyes Around the World is my baby, and I ask you all to help me get my eye around, so others can see and sharein the glory that is our hobby. You know how good it is yourself to see other places and players, and di erent gamesand tournaments. Even if you arent playing in them there is always something. Pain ng, terrain and/or gures.

So when you come to your wall, look for others who will inspire you. Some mes you will need to adjust your goals, but whatever, dont give up. Not al that long ago I didnt own a complete army and wasnt gaming at all. Now I amback playing the games that I love, mee ng new people and making new friends that love the game as much ormore, and ge ng together with old friends from across the gaming tables. Then there is Snake Eyes. As some haveheard me saying, I am a HAPPY MAN. I hope things go as well for you. Un l next me.

    Glen.

Believe it or not, these are miniatures. This is modelling at itsnest, and to achieve this level shows amazing dedica on to

the hobby. I dont have the name/s of whoever created thesedioramas but congratula ons on a brilliant e ort...

ark Heresy is a role playing game set in the grim darkness of the 41st Millennium, the decaying darkfuture of Warhammer 40,000. Below is the continuing background story of Bekki Imam, GGG member

Simon Machins character in Dark Heresy, continued from last issue.

    Sister Krankies diaries Part 9

My name is Bekki Imam, I am an Acolyte of the Handmaidens of the Emperor, an Adepta Sororitas.

    Awakening...

I awaken periodically, to see fragmented pieces of scenes as I was carried back to the ship. I heard later, that Brawn carriedme back to the shu le and to the medics where I awoke fully on a emergency eld bed. I opened my eyes to see a medicexamining me. Brawn was eyeing o the medic and was very vocal about making sure they looked a er me. I had to tell Brawnto guard the door, as he was in the way of the medic, and wouldn't let her examine me properly. The medic gave me a painkiller and then operated on me. I saw nothing as consciousness le me. When I woke up again, a short me later, I was to see

Brawn guarding me. I waved him over and thanked him. He was a faithful friend, and a loyal servant of the Emperor. I told himthat the Emperor protects me. He watches me and He will make me well.

He replied with "Skygod protects you Sister, and so shall I watch and protect you". I replied, thanking him. I told him that hewas a true servant of the Emperor and that I was proud to serve with him. He responded with some mu ering under hisbreath. I swear he blushed slightly, and turned away to guard me.

A er res ng for several more hours, the medic came back to examine me. She told me that I was lucky, and that no seriouslas ng damage had been done. I knew it was with the Emperors protec on, not luck.

A er three more days in the ships in rmary, I was surprized by a visit from the Inquisitor himself. He was accompanied bytwo female warriors, that both wore skin ght black synthskin ou its. Assassins, I thought to myself. The Inquisitor told Brawn

to wait outside, as did the two bodyguards.

The Inquisitor appeared a middle aged man in his late for es, with black, grey ecked hair. He appeared solid and well mus-cled, and was of a medium height. He introduced himself as Inquisitor Alaric Gelt, the Inquisitor for whom we have been work-ing for. He then closed the curtains around my bed and then reached into his pocket and switched on a device. He said that itwas for our privacy. He asked me how I was feeling and replied that I was going well, Blessings be to the Emperor. The Inquisi-tor then asked me about the mission and how it had gone. I told him about the en re mission from start to end, leaving noth-ing out in the full belief that he would know of anything I le out. He seemed content with my informa on and told me that hehad seen it all, and was pleased I had been forthright and honest with him. I did not know whether he meant this that he hadreviewed vid logs or had seen it telepathically. I assumed both. He then told me a lot of personal informa on that I chose notto even record here. He said that he has great plans for me, and gave me the leadership of the squad of acolytes. The ship"Faithful Intruder" will be u lised by my squad to assist in the missions he will charge us to ful l. Captain Ellie Borgia, will be

ships Commander. She has experience running deep space ships. I was surprised by this but accepted the informa on as acommand an obeyed.

The Inquisitor said, that he had le me informa on on a private cogitator in his old o ce. My new o ce on the FaithfulIntruder. He gave me the direc ons to the Inquisitorial o ce and quarters near the bridge of the ship. He wished me well andle with his bodyguards. I prayed to the Emperor for his well being, as he le .

A er another day I was told that I am well enough to go to my quarters to recuperate. I thank the medic for her a en ons,and make my way to the quarters with Brawn following close behind. I change back into my uniform at my old quarters, andarrange for the packing, and moving of general items to the new quarters. Not even menials were going to handle some of mymore treasured or blessed belongings, so I packed those myself, and made my way to the new quarters that the Inquisitor had

    assigned me.

I found the inquisitorial quarters easily, the Inquisitors informa on being quite detailed. The rooms are separated into o ce,sleeping and training cells. In the o ce I went to the cogitator and with the appropriate blessings, pressed the rune forac va on. I found that I have been allowed access to a lot of informa on on my team and the ships personnel. I leave my ownpersonal les un l later.

I contacted my team and asked them to meet me on the bridge of the ship. We then had a mee ng with the ships captainwho told us that he had orders from Inquisitor Gelt, reassigning him and his senior o cer to another ship. He con rmed theorder that he was to give the captaincy of the Faithfull Intruder to Ellie Borgia. He said that we were currently en route toScin llia, the Calaxis Sector capital world. That was where he and his senior o cer were to leave the ship.

We le his o ce, a er the mee ng and on our way o the bridge in the direc on of the new quarters, the Faithfull Intruderhull suddenly runs without the familiar low vibra on that one feels beneath their feet. The ship Chief security o cer interruptsus and the Captain. The engines have just gone o ine and she was receiving word that there are intruders on board. Severalservitors and crew have just been found murdered. We tell them that we will meet this threat.

Rampage , you arrive in Meeple City as a gigan c, famished, scaly -nned monster! Your goal: Dig your claws and dirty paws into the as-alt, destroy buildings, and devour innocent meeples in short: sowor while having fun. The monster who has caused the most damage

er the carnage nally ends wins the game. (source board game geek)

e game board consists of buildings made of cardboard les witheples (li le wooden pieces, in this case shaped as people). There are amber of building sites, and each monster has a corner from which theyrt. Each player as a round at disk and a stand up monster which isd in many ways, one of which is to allow you to place your chin on thensters head in which to blow wind in the hope of knocking downldings or moving meeples around the board.

ch turn a monster can do two ac ons, these are move, demolish, toss ahicle and breathe.

vement is my icking the monsters at disc in a direc on you desire, could be to place you next to a building to then demolish it or just to

move into an area where there are lots of meeples to eat (meeples areobjects that gain you victory).

molish can only be a ained if you at disk is on the sidewalk of a build-. You can then take the monster body and drop it from a height (therelimit to height) with the objec ve to knock oors and meeples over.

ors are also objec ve pieces when determining victory.

sing a vehicle is possible if you are in a sector that contains a vehicle.u place the vehicle on the head of your monster and ick it at whateveru want. This can be a building or even another monster.

tly a monster can breathe or blow wind in the hope of destroyinglding or moving meeples.

ere are cards that modify each monster, a character card, a power cardd superpower card that can make the victory objec ves di er fromnster to monster.

monster do have teeth. These indicate how many meeples the mon-r can eat in any given turn. If you ba le another monster, you takeir teeth and place them in your belly (behind the monster screen eachyer has), no monster can have less than two teeth.

e game ends when the last building oor has been destroyed. Pointsscored on combina on of meeples (there are six colours), building

ors and teeth. Monster powers or abili es then add addi onal points.son with the highest score wins!

as ini ally scep cal about this game, thinking that it was the premise

small children and that it wouldnt have much appeal to adult gamers.s it can be silly, but it is a fun and entertaining game. Limited to atst 4 players is its only downfall, though if you have more sets you cany up to eight.

As men oned in the page 3 column, I came across a webstore that was selling westernminiatures. I am yet to play a game of Dead Mans Hand, but found the vehicles beingused in their games, too irresis ble.

The Wild West, Old West style of game is something that GGG members here, haveplayed since the concep on of the group. It has been the core of both PentaCons, andthere is a moun ng collec on in my garage, but, no Carriages as the ones I had seen inthe past were usually resin or metal and as such too expensive to jus fy having one. Atthe me of wri ng this ar cle I have found a cheaper one again, but that does not comewith either horses or passengers and crew.

At the rough price of a 40k Rhino, $50 AUD, this carriage from 4Ground models comespre coloured, in laser cut MDF, and includes two metal passengers, two metal crew andfour metal horses. The assembly instruc ons are slightly harder to interpret with photosnot showing all of the angles of placement of certain parts, and there were pieces le onthe MDF sprue that I didnt need and the instruc ons dont men on. I used white woodglue in the construc on, and the whole assembly took about two hours, once ling smalledges were complete. The wagon, pictured at top of page, was even quicker to assemblewith less parts, although uncoloured, and comes with driver and two metal horses, andwas priced around $31 AUD. I will show fully painted and based models in a future issue.

The following pages promote an event called The Quickening at BroCon 2014, which was run as an Oldhammer event. The tournament was held in Limerick, Ireland. It was organised by Benedict Hallmark, Sean OSullivan, John OConnor andDavid Stafford. The Quickening was a Pulp fiction game, inspired by Highlander using Realms of Chaos Sensei Warbands, with Necromunda rules.

The monster plants were sourced from the GW universe including GorkaMorka, Necromunda, Fantasy and 40k. Thegroup plan to run the event at BOYL (Bring Out Your Lead) at this years event.

The Quickening is a mutli - player participation game, based on an obscure piece of 40k nonsense known as The Sensei, with a largedollop of dodgy 1980s cult movie Highlander added. Space Clancy Brown, Space Sean Connery and Space Christopher Lambert, willbe provided. Queen soundtrack and indecipherable accents to be provided by the participants.

LOKA is a fantastically sculpted Chess sets and a brand new take on playingChess, brought to you by River Horse.

LOKA is played with fantasy-inspired Chess pieces, each evoking the powerfulimagery of one of the four elements.

At its heart, LOKA uses the rules of Chess, and Alessio has some significanttwists in mind in the form of new mechanics:

Choose your army - Each player get to choose which pieces they put onto theboard, meaning both players command different armies on the battlefield doyou field a small but elite force with three Queens, or do you go for a masshorde of Pawns?

Fantasy Scenery Change the shape of the battlefield with movement blockingterrain that alters the path youll take into combat.

Dice Driven Combat a simple and elegant system using eight sided dice addssome unpredictability to combat, placing extra emphasis on strategy and posi-tioning as pieces build in power with support from their comrades.

uuro is the core of a new systemabstract war gaming , where you

in command of armies of chessces. Different from traditional chess,

are not forced to field a given set ofces on the board, but can choosech pieces to field, based on your skilltactical preferences. The innovative

ming board features terrain elementst change position every time youy, so that each game introduces aerent challenge.

Shuuro is a game for two players, ich merges the precision and rigourchess with the creativity and varietywar-gaming.t does so by attaching a points valueeach traditional chess piece and al-

wing the players to spend a predeter-ned amount of these points (say, al of 800 points) to select the chess

my that they think makes the bestof the points. This creates a feelingownership towards the particular

mbination the player thinks is thest effective. The battle will then take place on a large chess board of twelve by twelve squares. This board, however, also introduces aw and unique element to the game. Each of the four six-by-six quadrants of the board contains two plinths that block thevement of the pieces. These plinths are placed randomly at the beginning of every game with the help of a dice, ensuringt every game will be different and present unique challenges. The plinths also help in balancing the game, restricting thevement of Queens, Bishops and Rooks, while at the same time allowing Knights to land onto them and using them as defen-e positions (as only an enemy Knight can take them while theyre there). It is worth noting that game box also includes amal chessboard and full rules for traditional chess, making it good to learn chess and allowing players to engage in this great

ssic as well as the innovative Shuuro.

    Dread eet .

This was to be our second game. I had owned Dread eet and for ninemonths it collected dust upon the shelf, un l one day when friend StevenAzzopardi said, Whats that game like?

The set I had purchased was second hand and some a empt hadlready been made to paint the contents which was good, as although Ionsider myself a competent painter, I usually only painted as I neededo, for tournaments and the like. Consequently, pain ng is my slowestart of the hobby that is miniature wargaming.

The rst game that we had was agship versus agship. I took theaddies a er Steven chose to man the Heldenhammer. The game playsor six turns of which at the end gave the forces of good or Grand Alli-nce the win. I had a re break out on board the Bloody Reaver, andnsure of what happened next, (instant rule ac on decision), we made aecision to treat it as an extra hull damage. In our game the Dread eetlagship was sunk but having read the rules more thoroughly...hmmmhould have been a draw.

We approached the second game about a week later. I let Stevenhoose his side, and again he went with the Grand Alliance, however this

me we chose three ships each. I made a decision a er seeing thesehotos that we wont be recording any more games un l the models areainted. The black on a model that size does not show as much more, han a black blob on the dark seascape.

Steven chose the Heldenhammer, the Dwarf ship Grimnirs Thunder,nd the Elven ship, the Seadrake. I countered with the Bloody Reaver, the

Black Kraken and the Tomb King ship, the Curse of Zandri. Despite someule confusion over what fully cons tuted a turn, we set about trying tonnihilate each other. Ini ally, we had thought that the explana on in theules that described a turn, was that Steven on winning the roll forni a ve would ac vate one ship and move it, and then I would do the

ame and then end the turn and roll for ini a ve once more. We had therst part correct, but before the turn ended, every ship in each eet

would have to complete an ac on, and once the numbers becamenequal, one player may even have to keep moving ships a er his/herpponent had moved all of theirs.

I had the wind with me from the start, and where this bene ed myorces was that very early in the game, Steven drew three sea monstersrom the fate card deck.

A fate card is drawn by each player at the start of their turn, toetermine any event which may have to be resolved and has both goodnd bad e ects for each side. The fate cards also determine the direc onnd strength of the wind.

The placement of the sea monsters is one inch from the ship closest tohe wind gauge. That was my ship. That player gets to control the sea

monster, and it is treated another ship in their eet.

So with three ships and three sea monsters and the op on of launchingogs (more ships) from both sides, we went at it. The Bloody Reaver tookhe ini al a acks from all three of Stevens ships, before the rst of theea monsters a acked. The Black Kraken and The Curse of Zandri madeheir way up the outside edge to engage Grimnirs Thunder, as the Sea

Giant nally took down the Heldenhammer (due to unlucky dice rolls

rom Steven) and the Elven warship was sunk by a barrage from theBloody Reaver. It was a hard game, remembering everything that we hado do while learning the rules, but in the end the victory this me went tohe DreadFleet.

I started gaming at the age of 9 back in 1982.d just started at a new school and had to catchhe bus for half an hour each morning. An olderudent started telling me about a game calledungeons and Dragons. A er a few weeks oflking about it, I convinced my parents to take

me into town to buy the basic edi on of D&D,nd a set of red dice with a yellow crayon toolour in the numbers. I con nued to play basic&D in primary school and then moved on todvanced D&D when an older cousin passed ons rule books. I played mainly role playing

ames through high school, and my rst abortedempt at university. This was mostly as the DM

unning D&D and Champions campaigns, andaying a bit of Shadowrun when it rst came

    ut.

I played a li le 1/72nd scale modern warfareminiature gaming with an East German force,nd also enjoyed Car Wars.

When I moved down the Gold Coast a ere ng engaged, I realised that playing roleaying games all weekend with my mates, ould be a thing of the past. My friends and Iad all grabbed copies of Space Crusade whenoyWorld had been selling it for $20 and theupplement for another $10. We quickly grewored with the basic mechanics, but the back-round of the game interested me. My friend

Mac, had copies of the Slaves to Darkness andost and the Damned, which further intrigued

    me.

I started buying White Dwarf at around issue04 and decided that I wanted to play 40K. Iought the second edi on box set and haveought every edi on since. I gave the Orks to myiend, Dave Dennis to suck him in, and gave myhaos models from Space Crusade to anotheriend, Stacy Dennis to get him interested.

I believe played my rst game against Mac inhe house we had shared with my Dark Angels vs

s Chaos Marines at some me in 1997. I canll remember rapid ring with bolters at 24

nches and destroying most of his squad, buthen having Mac's Chaos marines tearing me aew one with their chain axes once he hado en into close combat. If you ask Mac nicely,m sure he would have the short story that herote about his army celebra ng around aon re a er the ba le. He actually converted a

model to have two chain axes as a result of this

    ory.

We decided to look for a gaming club toxpand who we played against and went and

met a disreputable bunch of guys who calledthemselves the Warhounds. They met in theback of a war gaming shop in Salisbury, Brisbane.I had a truly great me with these guys and wasintroduced to too many games to list by Nick,Glen, and everyone else. I mainly stayed withGW games loving 40K, Necromunda, Mordheimand GorkaMorka.

Having kids caused an almost 10 year hiatus inplaying games but I con nued buying models, and occasionally, pain ng. I got back into a moreregular pain ng regime about 3 years ago. Mymain love is 40K and I s ll consider my mainarmy Dark Angels, even though I haven't paintedor played with a them in around 10 years. Theyare currently used by my son when we playagainst each other.

My main project for the last few years hasbeen pain ng up some Bad Moon Orks for 40K. Istarted a blog this year which can be found bygoogling I am not a nboy as that is what Macaccuses me of being, with my ever increasinghorde of models s ll in the box.

I have a disturbingly large collec on of armiess ll in shrink wrap. For 40K I have Dark Angels,Orks which have assembled, and paintedmodels. My boxed armies include BlackTemplars, 13th Company Space Wolves from theArmageddon campaign, an old metal TallarnImperial Guard army, Eldar, Chaos Night Lordsand a load of Space Marines. I painted up aVampire Counts army for Warhammer back inthe day and my wife has plans to paint up myHigh Elves because they're pre y. I'm supposedto paint up my Orcs and Goblins to play againstthem.

I did play some Flames of War during my childenforced hiatus, and have a decent sized Russianinfantry force. My main gaming x over the last

few years has been playing a variety of boardgames with mates. The main games are TwilightImperium, Se lers of Catan, a bit of Axis andAllies and Ticket to Ride, but one of my mates isa compulsive board game buyer, and over thelast few years I've played dozens of di erentboard games.

I have a group of mainly old school mates that goaway twice a year, for, as I tell my wife 'roman cgaming weekends with the guys', where we playas many games as humanly possible over the

    weekend.

We also have spurts of Friday night gameswhen I'm not involved with gridiron.
