SUB-HAANALLAH SUB-HAANALLAH
(Glory be the Most Exalted and Transcendent Allah)(Glory be the Most Exalted and Transcendent Allah)
Allah, in this verse clarify a principle in Islam, to refute the Allah, in this verse clarify a principle in Islam, to refute the
wrong notion which many people have regarding its wrong notion which many people have regarding its
commandments and teachings.commandments and teachings.
Mankind by nature is (Mankind by nature is (NAFSNAFS) self-centered, very attached to his ) self-centered, very attached to his
desires (desires (HAWAHAWA’’). And ‘). And ‘AL-ISLAMAL-ISLAM’ essentially directs mankind to ’ essentially directs mankind to
submit his will (and desire) to the will of Allah – much of which submit his will (and desire) to the will of Allah – much of which

without knowledge and appreciation of higher wisdom, many without knowledge and appreciation of higher wisdom, many

to things or practices which are to their opinion, to be extraneous, to things or practices which are to their opinion, to be extraneous,

If we honestly reflect, in RamaIf we honestly reflect, in Ramadhdhan it can be proven, for example. :an it can be proven, for example. :
How easy to wake up early; be engaged in night devotion with How easy to wake up early; be engaged in night devotion with
passion; performing prayers in congregation and attending beneficial passion; performing prayers in congregation and attending beneficial
gatherings; avoiding what may nullify our fast; increasing charity and gatherings; avoiding what may nullify our fast; increasing charity and

Although one has to overcome the initial ‘Although one has to overcome the initial ‘reluctance, laziness or reluctance, laziness or

Oneness of God (Oneness of God (TAUTAUHHEEDEED) bound into the true brotherhood of ) bound into the true brotherhood of
mankind (mankind (INSAANINSAAN), although multi-ethnic yet committed to serve Him;), although multi-ethnic yet committed to serve Him;
