Audience Feedback Once I had completed my music magazine I carried out a questionnaire to gain objective feedback on my magazine. With the feedback I received from my questionnaires I summarised the results and placed them in a pie chart format to make them easier to read and analyse.

From the feedback provided it shows that 67% of individuals said that my magazine would catch there attention if they saw it in the shop, with only 6% disagreeing. This is positive feedback as one of my main aims was to make the magazine stand out and appeal to the audience and this feedback infers that I have done this. This is an achievement as it shows I have met the criteria for the product as my magazine didnt catch the attention of the audience then something wouldnt be right, but luckily the results clearly portray that my magazine would stand out in a shop.

The results of this question again are positive and show that I have met the said criteria as 87% of the individuals I asked would be intrigued enough to purchase my magazine. This suggests that my magazine caught their eye enough for them to want to find out more, implying that my front page had features that would stand out on a shelf in a shop. However, 13% did disagree and say they wouldnt be intrigued to purchase it. If I was to make my magazine again I would find out why the front page didnt intrigue those individuals and try and work on ways to make the magazine stand out against its competitors on the shelf.

The results of this question are very interesting as they enable me to see what first attracted my audience to my magazine. The research conveys that 60% believed that the colour scheme is what fist caught there attention, Im pleased with this as I did work hard on making the colour scheme consistent throughout the product, whilst also standing out. I was also pleased that a high majority said the main image was first was attracted them to the magazine as I worked hard on making the main image bright and enticing to the audience and this feedback implies that I achieved this.

As explained earlier I spent a lot of time on the colour scheme and trying to make it consistent throughout the product as well as trying to slightly convey the genre of the magazine through the colours used. Because of this I was pleased with the result of this question with 67% of individuals saying they liked the colour scheme used. Although, 33% did disagree so if I was to re do this magazine I would find out what they would want me to change about the colour scheme and try to convey a more unisex vibe.

Due to handing out my questionnaires to both male and females I did expect the feedback for this question to be quite varied as my magazine was predominantly focused on the female audience. Having 40% of the audience say the content didnt appeal to them doesnt surprise me, but I am very pleased that 60% agreed and said the content did appeal to them. This is because the content of the magazine is what holds the magazine all together and getting the content right was my main focus as I wanted it to reflect the pop genre and this audience feedback shows that I have done that, Im pleased about this.

This question was essential in my audience feedback as it allowed me to see what the audience liked most about my magazine and what features I need to improve on if I was to do my magazine again. The feedback reflects that the most popular reason why people liked my magazine was due to their interest in makeup and fashion. Im glad as this was my main focus to attract to the beauty bloggers. Likewise, 28% said my magazine appealed to them because they wanted to know the latest tour dates, showing that my features of the magazine were appreciated by the audience.

I was very pleased with the results of this question. The reason for this is one of the main aims was to create a pop genre magazine that my audience would enjoy and believe reflected the pop genre. From this feedback it infers that everyone asked believed I reflected the pop genre showing that I did achieve my main aim. It shows that all the features that were placed on my magazine all related to the pop genre which is very positive and what I wanted from the start.

Again, this question I was very pleased with the feedback that I gained. This is because I feel if people had thought my magazine didnt look professional then I wouldnt of achieved a vital feature of the music magazine, yet 73% of individuals thought I had created a professional looking magazine and especially contents page. Despite this, 27% disagreed showing that if I was to create my contents page again I could carry out a bit more research to try and make my contents page look as professional as possible.

I placed this question in my magazine as I wanted to find out what features the audience thought were the most professional/they liked the most. The results reflect that 53% believe the contents page looks most professional due to the colour scheme, which again I was pleased about as I spent a lot of time trying to make the colour scheme appropriate for the magazine I was creating. Likewise, 27% liked the features of the contents page which was important as it shows that features that I placed in my magazine were appropriate for the genre.

The feedback from this question allowed me to see what features of my contents page my audience felt I could improve upon. 40% of individuals said other so as further feedback I would carry out another questionnaire to find out what exactly they meant by this and try and improve on the features they didnt like as much.

I was pleased with the feedback provided on this question as I wanted to make my magazine affordable to everyone, especially students who may not have a part time jobs. I felt 3 was a reasonable price, especially with majority of magazines today being around the 3.50/4 price, hence why I tried to aim my product a little bit lower to make it appeal to wider audiences. My audience feedback reflects that 80% believed that my magazine was placed at a reasonable price which is what I wanted to achieve.

When creating my magazine I wanted the audience to feel a relaxed/informal vibe when reading it, I didnt want them to feel like they were reading a textbook so I was pleased when my audience feedback conveyed these findings. 87% inferred that they felt an informal vibe when reading the magazine which was what I wanted to achieve. However, 13% argued for a more formal vibe so this is something I can work on and try and make my magazine as informal as possible yet still ensuring it looks professional.

This was an essential question to put in my audience feedback as I wanted to see the ways in which I could improve my magazine if I were to do it again. I wanted to see what features the audience liked most and what features they felt needed improving. The results show that 69% felt that the quality of pictures needed improving, this result however didnt surprise as when analysing my final product I did feel that my pictures couldve been of higher quality and this has reflected in the audience feedback. I was pleased though that only 12% felt my content needed improving as It implies that the audience felt my content didnt need improving as it was appropriate for the magazine.

Overall, Im pleased with the audience feedback that I received. I felt like the results reflected a positive overview of my magazine and inferred that Id achieved the main aims by creating a professional looking pop genre magazine. The feedback has been useful as its enabled me to see what features of my magazine I can improve on and make better to ensure that my magazine looks as professional as possible and meets all the needs of my target audience.
