What have you learned from your audience feedback?

Louise Garner

Page 2: Question 3 eval

It is vitae to get audience feedback when creating projects like this. If I was not to get advice and opinions from other people, I would never know if my product would be successful. Audience feedback

is helpful as their criticism will allow me to make changes to different aspects of my music video which I may not have come across. It also allows me to develop my skills further for future

projects.

What I have learnt from AS…

I have learnt from AS that you should • Re-film all shots numerous times incase of continuity issues• Find good realistic actors/actresses that are reliable and will do a good job• Update my blog frequently so that blog entries are spread out throughout the whole

project time and not all rushed at the end• Leave enough time to edit incase any re-film or extra filming needs to be done

Page 4: Question 3 eval

• Love the framing of the last shot• Good lighting during lip syncing• One shot when playing the piano was too

white in lighting• Quite a lot of walking• Rosie’s acting during lip syncing was really

good- Shannon

• Good lip syncing• Good choice of actress as you can

tell that Rosie knows what she is doing

• Like the locations- Eloise

• The lighting for the piano parts was really good

• The panning around was really good when you subtly panned off of Rosie

• The shots flowed really well

• The music was cut well• Lip syncing and piano

syncing was perfect- Nicole

Page 5: Question 3 eval

• The lighting was really good in the piano scenes – shots were really thought about as half of her face had light on but the other half didn’t which gave a really good effect

• Good continuity throughout• Lip-syncing and piano playing was really good and didn’t look fake because of Rosie’s

talent• Brave staying focused on Rosie throughout• Angles were good and professional e.g. thought gone into how much of the water was

going to be seen in the beach scenes• People with the dog in the background ruins it? – But it could make it seem like she’s

going back into reality from after remembering the memories she had with that person who used to be in her life

• Beautiful• Liked that Rosie was the only one featured

Comments from the Film Show…

Page 7: Question 3 eval

Feedback from Person 1:• Like that it relates to music video – corporate identity• Pictures represent the meaning of the video• Pictures link well and create a ‘path’ of where Rosie is going

My Response

It is clear that from my feedback that my audience likes the fact the images from the music video were used in both ancillary texts as it links them all well

together which is also good for consistency in corporate identity. The majority of feedback is positive apart from a few points of constructive criticism such as the pictures being slightly blurry which I was not able to adjust or solve in any way.
