Nut Allergies

We have recently been notified

that a student at our school has

experienced a severe and

frightening allergic reaction to a

biscuit containing peanuts.

We remind parents that even though we are

unable to declare our school as ‘nut free’, for

the safety of all our students, we ask that

students do not bring nuts or foods containing

nuts to school.

Important P&C Meeting News

Our next P&C Meeting will be held on

Wednesday, 18th October. We have 2

positions vacant, Secretary and Vice President,

and these will be elected at the next meeting.

Mrs Tammy Barling will now take on the role of

President. All financial members will be eligible

to nominate themselves and vote for the new

committee members. We will also be beginning

plans for the 2018 Wyee Round Up. Any

parents wishing to be part of the fundraising

committee can also nominate themselves at the

meeting. We will need a lot of parents to take

on this huge workload. There will be

opportunities for parents to assist, even if you

cannot make the P&C meetings.

Sports day – Hockey – Term 4

This term all students K-6 will participate in a

7 week hockey program

provided through the Sporting

Schools program. Hockey

lessons will take place on

Thursday this term. Students

are asked to wear Sports Uniform on this day.

Selective High School Placement 2019

The online application for selective High

School Placement for 2019, Year 7 students

will open tomorrow, 10th October. If you

would like your child to try out for the

Selective High School Placement for 2019

it is important that you complete the online

application. The closing date for

applications is Monday 13th November

2017. Late applications will not be accepted.

Diorama Competition

Congratulations to our Environment Week

Diorama Competition winners. The judges

had a very hard job deciding just a few

winners out of the many dioramas entered.

All entries were clever and creative. Well

done everyone.

Trinity asked Mrs

Coleman to run the

Colour Run with her.

They both had a lot

of fun. Jacob and Aiden enjoyed a game of

handball with Mrs Coleman.

Lulu asked Mrs Coleman to

join in dance. Lulu was a

great teacher and taught

Mrs Colemen the moves.

Layla had Mrs Coleman

complete her beep test

for her.

Mrs Coleman

had a busy Week

10 with Term 2

Dojo winners.
