Donors Circle

Your donation is held by the Moose Foundation in the Mooseheart/Moosehaven Endowment Fund where over time this

money earns interest.

It is the responsibility of the Investment Committee and the Moose Foundation board to make decisions regarding the

distribution of money generated from the Endowment Fund investments.

The principal of the gift remains invested while only the Endowment Fund’s annual income may be grant fund investment

to Mooseheart & Moosehaven.

As the Endowment Fund investment total grows, so does the annual interest income. Therefore, you contribute to the

overall financial stability of Mooseheart & Moosehaven. The Donors Circle is a program of Moose Charities. Your individ-

ual cumulative Endowment fund donations made to Moose Charities are recognized with a distinctive pin and your name

will be listed on the Moose Charities website.

Welcome

Thank you Riders for another great

and eventful couple of months.

The Rim Ditch Run was a complete

success. We had 24 riders attend and

we raised $275 for the Sheriffs Youth

Ranch. Special thanks to our members

-Terry Hogan and Rick O’Bannon for

providing us with live entertainment

for the evening.

We had so much goings on and we

still managed to hold a successful

poker run for the Lupus Foundation in

honor of one of our own-KB. We

raised $925 for the cause and the

grand total donated was $2645.

Thank you all of you that participated

and made this possible.

The 2014 Spring Motorcycle Rally

was a successful event raising

$7061.44 to be distributed to

Mooseheart, Moosehaven, and The

Sheriffs Youth Ranch. Thank you

riders that were in attendance at this

event. Rumor is you all had an

awesome time….

The Rocking chair raffle for the

Donors Circle Rocker Fund for

Moosehaven was great-we raised $288

for the cause. Just so that you know

there is a beautiful grandbaby enjoying

that rocking chair…..

We are currently participating in the

Chairmans Challenge for the trophy at

the Fall Rally in Port Charlotte--Keep

the photos coming. We can win I

know it….You guys all love to take

pictures. If you need the rules they are

on the moose riders board at the

lodge….

The new design t-shirts came in and

have been selling. Anyone interested in

purchasing one can get it at our Lodge

for $15-see the bartender for

assistance as they will be happy to

help.

The bottle raffle continues to do well

even tough we have lost so many to

the northern parts of the world as

they have departed and gone home.

We will miss them all and hope to see

everyone back to sunny Punta Gorda

next year…We currently have 69

members, being that said, we need to

push forward and our Florida resident

members have the power to keep our

group moving to reach higher goals.

As you all know our meetings are on

the first Saturday of every month @

10 AM at the Lodge. We need all to

attend and share ideas, and

thoughts to keep busy

throughout the year. We can

only continue to be who we are

with every ones help…Thank you

all for what you do…..Ride
