Wow! Was the most common word I heard as everyone saw the newly installed murals for the first time. They really are impressive and lift the area around the canteen. It was great to be able to watch our students identify the parts of the mural that they had painted. Lex James (our artist) is hoping to have all the murals installed before the holidays.

The canteen is now selling home made soup, with a choice of pumpkin or chicken/vegetable. The soups come with a slice of bread and cost just $3.00. The staff have tried them and they are highly recommended – just the right thing for a cold day.

Next term both Year 4 and Stage 3 have major excursions. Don’t forget that our on-line payment facility will still work during the holidays. Both excursions need to be paid in full at least a week before we go, because the school has to pay in advance.

Parents of Year 4 students have been asked to complete an on-line medical form for Myuna Bay camp. Thank you to the 20 parents who have completed this already. The form is due by this Friday. The link is a really long one – when I filled in my note I just copied and pasted the link from the copy of the note in the “Notes Home” section of our website. On the back of that note I included a copy that shows what the first part of the form looks like. Please be aware that this is just for your information – please don’t fill that part in and return it to school. This note is necessary for the Myuna Bay to get things like special diets organised. We will send another school permission and medical note home after the holidays.
