TITLE OF THE APPRAISAL: “Krishibid Villa”

1. INTRODUCTION: Project appraisal is a systematic and comprehensive of different aspects of a project to determine if it will meets its objectives.

1.1. Definition: For judgment or assessment of the value of this project with in a formal way as well as informal way.

1.1.2. Project description: We visit a project and access the viability of the project. It is personal project. Located Section 2 block- C, Road no- 1, Mirpur 2. The size of the project is total “3.4 katha. (3.4*720) or 2448 sft”.

2. DESCRIPTION OF THE APPRAISAL:

2.1. Meaning: Asses the viability of a project. It is used for both proposed and executed projects.

2.2. Project Appraisal may include:

2.2.1. Technical appraisal

2.2.2. Social appraisal

2.2.3. Gender appraisal

2.2.4. Economic and financial appraisal

2.2.5. Environmental appraisal

Project appraisal of that Project is given below:

2.2.1. Technical Appraisal: The size of the project is total “3.4 katha. (3.4*720) or 2448 sft”. 2.2.1.1. Water and Electricity: “1.5pipe” line is available here for water supply. Now in under construction condition Single face Electricity line is available. After completion of this project the owner will applied 3 face electricity line for domestic purpose.

2.2.1.2. Transportation Facilities: As the project is located beside 20ft width main road so all transportation are available from here.

2.2.1.3. Raw Materials Quantity and Quality:

2.2.1.3.1. Per floor it required 5 ton reinforcement 2.2.1.3.2. 1000cft brick cheeps and 2.2.1.3.3. 200 bag cement for slab casting.

2.2.2. Social Appraisal:

2.2.2.1. Job Opportunity: Though it is a personal project, job opportunity is available here. 2.2.2.2. Contribution of Property Reduction: Although it is a private project, so many poor workers work here, so they are contributing to reduce poverty.

2.2.3. Gender Appraisal

They have total 30 workers, 5 of them are female.so there is no gender discrimination. Both the male female is contributing to the society.

2.2.4. Economical Financial Appraisal

2.2.4.1 Total cost: the total cost of this project approximate 2 core

2.2.4.2 Benefits: after completing this project, the benefit approximates 1.5 cores.

2.2.5 Environmental Appraisal

The building waste is emptying in a regular interval, so there is no probability of getting discharged of the waste material, and the sewerage system is also very much flexible here so there is nothing much wrong with the environment in this project, but the only problem is with the hygienic condition. And this is so much harmful for labors health.

3. CONCLUSION

We thing overall it is a good project having all the necessary things needed. The only place need to improve is the incensement of facilities for the labors like-food, proper wage, healthy habitation etc.
