les cites et villes (RLRQ, c. C-19), le conseiinomme par resolution les fonctionnaires etemployes qu'il juge necessalres aI'adminlstration de la ville, et fixe leurtraitement;

ATTENDU QU'un poste permanent decoordonateur en sante et securite au travail aete cree a la suite de la revision de la structure

du Service du genie, du Service des travauxpublics et d'Hydro Westmount afin de repondreefficacement aux besoins lies a la preventionainsi qu'a la supervision des chantiers deconstruction ;

ATTENDU QUE la directrice des Ressources

humaines recommande la nomination de

monsieur Richard Fires au poste decoordonateur en sante et securite au travail.

WHEREAS according to section 71 of the Citiesand Towns Act (CQLR, c. C-19), the councilshall appoint by resolution such officers andemployees as it deems necessary for theadministration of the city, and shall fix theirsalaries;

WHEREAS a permanent position of Coordinator- Occupational Health and Safety was createdas a result of the revision of the structure of the

Engineering Department, of the Public WorksDepartment and of Hydro Westmount in order toeffectively address the needs related toprevention and the supervision of constructionsites;

WHEREAS the Director of Human Resources

recommends the appointment of Mr. RichardFires to the position of Coordinator -Occupational Health and Safety.

WHEREAS, at its regular sitting of December 3,2018, the Council adopted Resolution number2018-12-257 establishing the schedule ofregular Council sittings for 2019;

WHEREAS according to this resolution, theCouncil sitting of March 4, 2019 is scheduled for5:30 p.m. and the Council sitting of March 18,2019 is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.;
