Our visit to Sia Tikuva

Field Trip

• On Wednesday, January 16th , 2013, the Fourth graders had the chance to visit a butterfly farm.

• They were taught about the butterfly life cycle and its body parts.

They observed live butterflies and their eggs.

• Finally, the students made a caterpillar with materials, such as a wooden stick, little balls of yarn, and wiggly eyes. They had so much fun!

• They also were given a butterfly in a pupa to see its birth... And it hatched!
