What is PowerPoint?

As an educational tool :

As a software: It is Microsoft application used to create interactive

presentations containing text, art, animation, and audio and video elements. (Starr L. 2000).

Is a tool as Jonassen said that helps the learners to present their knowledge and share it together.

1. Captures the students' attention.

2. Presents information or instruction to whole

class.

3. Give the chance to be creative.

4. Creates tutorials, reviews, quizzes for students.

5. Displays student’s work.

6. Creates active classroom environment.
