These areas are not important, the important is the development of a well-educated.
• Ethics is more important.
• Need to know other cultures and languages and globalization
Knowing your skills, problem-solving skills and communication skills are VERY important
• Art is a basic way of communication that can be applied into lots of different subjects regarding education
• “…We need more people, we need THINKING people…”
• “We need to develop Renaissance people who have high appreciation of the arts, while also having high-level skills to do whatever necessary to earn money”
• “Ethics are essential”
• Social science need to be integrated, to show students about connections and interrelationships
• “The greatest problem of communication is the illusion that it has been accomplished”
• Thanks to the internet students can see almost anything anywhere, but they need to be reminded of how communication works
• Employers want critical thinking people with problem-solving skills; but need to be reminded that it won’t always be easy doing so.
• Thinking outside the box is as important as critical thinking; anticipating consequences and realizing individual actions are too.
