Front cover- main shotCamera shotType of shot: Medium long shot This is so that the reader can see the waste up of the artist. This means that the reader can see the artists clothes and the back ground which will give the reader a feel for the cover stars personality.Angle: eye level , this will give the reader a connection with the cover star.Mise-en-sceneCharacter: The character will be a male up and coming artist.Costume: The artist will be dressed in modern casual clothes with use of light colours such as blue and white to portray a cool chilled theme to the magazine.Location: The photograph will be taken in a studio setting with a white background that has an arty type background on to represent the artist so that no attention is taken away from the artist and the typography either side of the artist is clear and easy to read.Props: No props are needed

Contents- main shot Camera shotType of shot: Medium close up shot – the medium close up shot will be set at a landscape angle to be the width of the page.Angle: low shot to show the artists power over the reader.Mise-en-sceneCharacter: The character will be the latest up and coming artist.Costume: The theme for clothes will be what an artist from that genre will typically wear so smart casual clothes.Location: The photograph will be taken in outside in a urban environment like the DPS photo to give an edgy feel.Props: no props needed

Double page spread- main shot (this shot will also be used in the contents)Camera shotType of shot: Long shot- This establishes where the shot is being taken with full view of most of the protagonist and the background.Angle: High angle: I am using a slightly high angle shot to create variation from the other shots in the magazine and make it feel as the reader has power of the protagonist.Mise-en-sceneCharacter: This will be the same character that has been featured Costume: The character will be in modern clothes similar to the one worn on the front cover to create a cool casual feel.Location: This photo will be taken in a dense urban area such as a multi-story car park to give edgy urban effect.Props: No props needed.

Other shotsThese are other shots I plan to use in my magazine. Contents 3 – This will be a close up shot of an instrument such as a

guitar in another artists hands ,this is done to show the details and close ups of the instrument.

Contents shot 2- This is will be a latest album cover that I will have made myself using photo shop for a new band.

DPS fact file- This shot will be a close up shot just containing the male artist that is also shown on the DPS face to accompany the fact file and be at eye level so that there is a connection with the reader.
