Photography PlanningModelsFor my front cover and double page spread I will use a young male to be shown as a young breakthrough solo artist. For the contents page I am going to take pictures of several other people male and female.

LocationsFor the cover shoot I am going to take the images in the studio, or use a white wall and some lighting in a makeshift studio if this in unavailable. But for the double page spread I am going to take photo’s in places that fit the style of my artist, for example some will be taken in an underground car park and around common urban areas.I am also going to use these locations to take images of several people for the contents page to create a band like image and set around various other outdoor locations that fit the style of the magazine. For the cover I am going to have a medium close up shot of the artist taken in the studio as this is a genre convention of most music magazines and will allow me to place the headlines and text in the white space around the artists head. For my image for the double page spread I am going to use a portrait image so that it takes up one A4 side of the double page spread leaving the other side free to write the article in columns as is the genre convention of music magazines
