NAME: Denise Hawkes Directions: Below, you will find a list of some of the most common negative success indicators for students today. Develop at least two positive strategies to overcome each indicator. Making excuses and blaming others: 1. taking responsibility for you actions. 2. owning up to your mistakes Tardiness (late for classes): 1. give yourself enough time to get to your destination. 2. get everything situated before it’s time for you to go somewhere. Avoiding responsibility: 1. Not procrastinating your responsibilities. 2. force yourself to get thing done in a timely manner. Partying over studying: 1. choose to study to do great on a test. 2. choosing to stay focus on your classes instead of having distractions. Apathy: 1. push yourself to have interest in something. 2. try things that will get your attention. Like a certain book or a certain subject in school.
