So let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receivemercy and find grace for timely help. Hebrews 4:16

I wonder how many times I have thrown up my hands inexasperation and muttered some version of “I’m stressedout about this, and I don’t know what to do or which way togo!” Indeed, in today’s world, if you aren’t stressed andbusy, it seems you must be doing something wrong. ButGod offers us an alternative. God offers us the courage andconfidence to ask for and receive just enough mercy andgrace to meet the challenges of our lives. “Busy andstressed” maybe the mantra of today’s world, but “graceand mercy” are much more powerful and enduring. God,give me the courage and confidence to approach you whenI need you the most. An excerpt from Living Faith

It seems that life is so very busy, so busy that sometimesit is difficult to find time for God. As followers of Christ wemust make time for God, nothing can be more importantthan our relationship with Christ. We must find a way tonourish that relationship daily, if not hourly. How we makethat relationship strong is up to us. However we do it, it isvitally important to our souls that we do it. Of course prayeris an important way, listening and speaking to God throughScripture, memorized prayers or just talking. Another wayis to be a dedicated disciple of Christ and share our Godgiven gifts with others. If we are a true disciple of Christ, wewill want to address the needs of our parish and ourcommunity and see where we can meet the greatest need.

We continue to offer the following opportunies as ways tobe involved in the parish. We need Eucharistic Ministers,Lectors, and Ushers all at Masses. We need members forthe Funeral Ministry, Event Support Volunteers andHospitality Ministry. The Youth Faith Formation and Nurserycan also use volunteers. If any of these areas speak toyou, please contact me.
