Dear Family, A Happy St. Patrick’s Day and a blessed St. Joseph’s Day to one and all! We honor all of those of Irish and Italian descent this week. We owe much as a country to those immigrants who have become such an important part of us. Both Ireland and Italy have given us many great saints like St. Patrick, St. Joseph and St. Anthony. Who has not
prayed to St. Anthony when losing an object? St. Patrick, St. Joseph and St. Anthony pray for us!

March 17, 2013
The power of God's mercy can restore all things to newness of life. We come to know more clearly God's mercy through his Son, Jesus, who redeems and restores all things through his death and resur-rection. Through faith in Jesus and our Steward-ship of Time, Talent and Treasure we grow in holi-ness and strive to attain newness of life as we share in his Resurrection.
“Christ sent his apostles so that „repentance and
forgiveness of sins should be preached in his name
to all nations.‟ „Go therefore and make disciples of
all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Fa-
ther and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.‟ The
mission to baptize, and so the sacramental mission,
is implied in the mission to evangelize, because the
sacrament is prepared for by the word of God and by the faith
which is assent to this word.” (CCC, n. 1122)
