Dear Parish Family, We are often at our best when we are tested. is has proven true in the parish during this pandemic. We all felt the pain of not being able to gather, even for Mass, and still feel it as our gatherings are limited by the virus. But from the very beginning people were asking the question, “How can we respond to this as a parish?” We ended up distributing thousands of meals to ease the pain of unemployment. We learned to use technology to keep us connected. We have rediscovered the importance of family prayer, and have moved our evangelization efforts online. rough it all one constant has been the commitment of parishioners to keep Sacred Heart Chapel strong, vital and united as one in the Sacred Heart of Christ. We see this beautifully in the ways people have continued supporting the parish financially even as months passed without a single collection. is Many Hands, One Heart program is the opportunity for you to impact this vibrant parish community. A menudo estamos en nuestro mejor momento cuando se nos pone a prueba. Esto ha demostrado ser cierto en

Making a Difference...A Small Act of Love“Social distance” – who had ever heard of it? Now it is what we do to protect the most vulnerable among us. But some of those same people feel very alone, forgotten. Be a disciple of our Lord and try to think of someone who may be lonely and make contact: a call, a note, maybe even a front yard visit. It can make a big difference for them.
Hacer una Diferencia...Un Pequeño Acto de Amor“Una Distancia social” – ¿quién había oído hablar de ella? Ahora es lo que hacemos para proteger a los más vulnerables entre nosotros. Pero algunas de esas mismas personas se sienten muy solas, olvidadas. Seas un discípulo de nuestro Señor y trata de pensar en alguien que pueda estar solo y haga contacto: una llamada, una nota, tal vez incluso una visita al patio delantero. Puede hacer una gran diferencia para ellos.
