Essays responses will bejudged by LSG staffand teacher council members. We are looking for creativity, passion and an awesome explanation of how this experience will be used to create an amazing unit for your students. Units that incorporate the 5 Cs are encouraged'

Important Dates:

Contest announced: July 1st

Submissions accepted: July 1st -July 15th

Winner Announced: July 22nd

Trip: Between August 1st -August 8th (3 days depending on availability of contest winner. Please do not apply if you are not available for a 3 day trip within these dates)

Includes:

• Airfare for you and your guest (fellow educator) • Cab fare to and from airport • Lodging in NYC (hotel room for 2) • Meals (2 breakfast, 2 lunches, 2 dinners)

Tour Experiences:

Get ready for an amazing adventure with LilySarahGrace Founders Matt and Abby' Visit the New-York Historical Society, the oldest museum in NYC and learn about this city's history through its art exhibitions, go behind the scenes with a chef and experience the art, science and culture behind their cuisine, then explore Brooklyn through a walking tour and learn how the community engages its visitors through art. Your trip will be documented through professional filmmakersthat will capture all of your amazingmomentsand will include YOU on film sharing your experiences. This mini documentary is sure to be a hit with your students as you introduce them to NYC (no worries, this is just like selfies with your friends - smile and we'll do the rest)'
