Anne has traveled extensively and has lead tours and cruises to Israel, Britain, Alaska, Greece, Spain, the Orient and Ireland, to name a few. Koningsdam. Like her sister ships, this new addition is breathtaking in every detail. It offers a world of spacious

over 2,600 passengers in pampered luxury and provides

unforgettable entertainment experience with the Music

Walk, three stages presenting a variety of live music

nightly.

Ten different lounges and restaurants are yours to

enjoy from the intimate Sel de Mer seafood brasserie to

the Dining Room set on two floors and framed by views of

the sea.

The transformed Lido is now a modern marketplace

offering different themed stations and selections, the

Pinnacle Grill is an intimate alternative dining, and at the

Tamarind you can discover exotic tastes evoking

traditional Asian cuisine. A complete Promenade deck,

two pools and a superb fitness centre, spa and beauty

parlour are all yours to enjoy.

All staterooms feature two lower beds (which can

convert to a queen), a private bathroom with shower,

individually flat-panel television and DVD player. Enjoy

Mariner's Dream bed, fine Egyptian cottons, terry cloth

robes and more. Average size of standard rooms is over

180 square feet. Most outside staterooms feature a

picture-window and all have a bathtub/shower. Deluxe

Verandah suites include private verandah and floor-to-

Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA: Newly redesigned Fort Lauderdale Beach and cafes allow a nice stroll along the historic Riverwalk or you can simply enjoy the luxurious stores on Las Olas Boulevard or even venture to the Everglades for an intriguing air boat excursion.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten: Philipsburg is the capital of the Dutch section of this wonderful island (called Saint Maarten), and lies on a gentle arc of land with a river water lake to the north and a bay to the south. An esplanade runs alongside a white sand beach, so you can switch from sunning to shopping and back again in moments. Visit the duty-free boutiques of Front Street, one of the great shopping avenues of the Caribbean, or you can also

choose from one of the island's nearly 40 beaches. Mullet Bay is incredible!

Castries / Soufriere, St. Lucia: You can enjoy the bustling market of Castries, volcanic Sulphur Springs, the towering Pitons and, of course, the lush vegetation. Those with a desire to step back through time may want to go for a hike in Pigeon Island National Park.

Bridgetown, Barbados: Barbados is what England might look like if it had taken a tropical vacation years ago and decided to stay put. Cricket is the national sport, afternoon tea is given, and motorists hug left. See the British influence in the historic old section of town, which has been singled out as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Other highlights include the Barbados Museum and the Careenage district, with its bars and restaurants.

Fort-de-France, Martinique: This city is an exotic blend of French and Creole cultures. You can buy a Madras headdress or a Parisian silk scarf here or if you feel hungry you can either enjoy French specialties such as croissant or more exotic flavours as in a coconut pastry.

Basseterre, St Kitts: The British and the French played keep-away with the island of St. Kitts in the 17th and 18th centuries. The British ultimately controlled the island, its capital, Basseterre, and Fort Brimstone, the "Gibraltar of the West Indies." Today we see traces of both countries in a setting that is all Caribbean. Highlights include Independence Square, the old section of town; the Circus, a shopping district; and St. George's Anglican Church.

St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands: The lovely, European-influenced port of Charlotte Amalie wins the prize for Caribbean shopping thrills. You might want to enjoy endless succession of sandy crescents and protected coves or take the aerial tram up to Paradise Point.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas: Holland America Line's pristine private island offers everything you need for a day of play in paradise: a two-mile crescent of perfect beach; an interior lagoon; private beachside cabanas with butler service, showers and misters; and all manner of watersports and activities, including a buoyed personal watercraft course.
