Dual-Career NewsAAUP Names HERC in Groundbreaking Partner Accommodation Report

The American Association of University Professors’ (AAUP) Committee on Women in the Academic Profession released a report about dual-career hiring in September 2010 that recommends HERC:

HERCs provide a variety of services for listing and sharing open positions that can be invaluable in assisting academic partners. HERC membership costs vary by the size of the institution, making this option, where available, particularly useful for smaller institutions without the resources to establish a partner-accommodation program.
