and Digital Retoucher Frans. They’ve impressed a lot of people with their project

Skeletal Moments. They’re now even famous in Korea where a magazine called Photo+

published an 8-page article about their work. Looking at the interview we have absolutely no

clue about what Frans and Sem told them, but it’s a huge achievement nevertheless. ;)

Skeletal moments is a series about people and their hidden secrets. The name of the series

comes from a English saying: Skeleton in the closet. A skeleton in the closet is a big secret

someone keeps for themselves. If the secret would reveal, it could have a negative impact

on the person. With our images we try to reveal little stories about people who carry a

‘skeleton’ with them.

Unlike with a book, where the writer gives you the story and with your imagination you

create the ‘images’, we turn it the other way around for the viewer.

We provide the image and it’s up to the viewer to imagine the story behind each image.
