WehadastopoverinAlbuquerque,NMwhereRayhadaconference. WehadavisitwithAuntMargretwhich

wassadbecauseUncleJohnhadjustpassedawayafewweeksbefore. WegottoseeBrianWelchandMabelflewouttoCA. RaygottogotoAZCampmeetingin

PrescottwhereAddihostedaHawaiianLuau.InCalifornia,wecelebratedClaudiasandMylasbirthday.TheeventofthesummerwasEddiesweddingtoPaula. ItwasheldatabeautifulsettingatLagunaBeach. EddieandClaudiasfatherandwifeAngelicacamefromPeruforthewedding.

FromCAwewenttoUtahtovisitUncleCub(Raysdadsbrother)andhiswifeCoy,andsomeofRayscousins.FromtheSaltLakeareawewenttovisitKimandMaryMehlenbacherintheBoulderCOareaandwentthroughZionNationalPark,MoabandotherinterestingpartsofCO. Whatbeautifulcountry!!

OnourwaydownfromRockyMountainNationalParkweranacrossalargeherdofelk. Whatfun!! OnthewaybacktoAZwewentthroughOurayCO.InSilvertonthenarrowgaugetraincameinandRaytookavideoforWyatt. ThenextstopwasMesaVerdewhichwasinterestingto

seeagainaftersomanyyears.MabelgottopurchaseanauthenticTwoGreyHillsrugattheoriginalstorejustWestofNewcomb. Raygot

tovisithisfavoritereservationhome,Naschitti. Theplacewasprettyrundownandtheoldbarnwherehisdadbuilttheboatwasgone,butitwasstillfuntosee. Alongthewaywepassed

whatChrisandRaycametonameGhostRockwhereDib(Raysdad)toldlittleSteviewhowasabout4or5yearsoldthatghostswouldslidedownthenortherninclineatnight.WepickedupMissy,Addi,andAlexinShowLowtotakethemtoOhio. WestoppedinGalluptoseetheoldElRanchoHotelwhereallthemoviestarsusedtostaywhenmakingcowboymovies. WealsosawRaysoldhomeon6IdahoCircle. Itwasagreatsummer!! WegottoseeboththeAtlanticandPacificoceansandplentyofmagnificentcountryinbetween.
