‘stache that keeps my nose from getting too ground down by the grindstone. I’m spreading my wings in the new year and taking over the newspaper, including using this new fangled interweb to put things online(?).

We moved my mom into new digs this year — going from 4200 to 1500 square feet — that are decked out and we are keyed that she’s living closer and things are solid. It’s another crashpad for the boys too, with groovy baking sessions. She’s working on her ministry courses and enjoying a wicked new life.

Gail, Erica’s mom, lost her own mom this year. We all hung tough and instead of dwelling on the past, we decided to pull together as an entire family and jet to Disneyland this coming summer. We also celebrated her 65th with a spiffy happening with all her friends and family.

Pa Boot, Erica’s pop, is still getting back to nature with his lawncare business with the older grandkids. He’s looking to redo the kitchen and even get his cherry carshop in the backyard soon.

The last of my grandparents sailed into the sunset as Eric finally got his 50’ yacht and has joined his bride in the sky. My dad generously passed on some green, so Erica will also get her new kitchen next year.

We were generous to ourselves too this year and took a righteous first trip to Vegas. We were rockin’ out every night and enjoyed the scene so much that we are cuttin’ out and heading back again soon.

Have a blast this season with the beautiful people and all our blessings for the holidays and the year.
