Hay muchas ventajas de tener una cuenta en Facebook. Puedes entrar en contacto con la gente

que no ves desde hace mucho tiempo, ya sean amigos o familiares. También puedes pasártelo

bien haciendo nuevos amigos y viendo fotos y videos de otras personas. Además si no te gusta tu

perfil, es posible cambiarlo por otro que te guste más. En fin, las posibilidades son infinitas.

Otra ventaja es que no hay tanta discriminación como en la vida real ya que las otras personas no

saben cuánto dinero tienes, ni tus creencias si no quieres que lo sepan y esto te hace sentirte más

aceptado. Esto siempre es positivo.

Pero también, como con muchas otras cosas, hay desventajas. Dejar el perfil abierto hará que

todo el mundo pueda contactar contigo lo cual no siempre es bueno. Además, para la mayoría

de la gente no es buena idea que tu posible futuro jefe vea todo lo que haces porque puede

perjudicarte en la selección para un trabajo. También se puede usar mucho tiempo jugando a

los mini juegos y tests que hay en la red. Esta pérdida de tiempo es un inconveniente para tus

estudios o trabajo. Pero lo cierto es que no tienes por qué malgastar el tiempo. Es tu decisión si lo

haces o no.

Yo creo que sí porque llegas a conocer a las personas muy bien, algunas veces incluso mejor de

que lo que conoces a tus amigos que ves todos los días en el colegio o en el barrio. Además, a

veces la gente con la que estás en el colegio o en el barrio no son el tipo de gente con la que te

llevas bien. Pero en Facebook hay millones de personas. No estás limitado por el lugar donde

vives así que siempre vas a poder encontrar a alguien con el que te llevas bien, no importa si es

de tu ciudad o de tu país.

Tampoco estás limitado por el tiempo ya que no hay que esperar a que la otra persona esté

conectada para conocerle. Siempre puedes ver sus fotos y sus videos.

Mucha gente dice que es un mundo irreal pero al contrario de lo que muchos creen, yo pienso

que la gente, en general, es bastante sincera con lo que escribe en Facebook. A veces se

exageran las cosas un poco o no se dice toda la verdad, pero esto también pasa en la vida real.

Mis amigos lo hacen constantemente. Siempre enseñamos nuestra mejor cara cuando estamos

con la pandilla. Además, si no se pudieran hacer amistades verdaderas, no habría tanta gente

conociéndose por Facebook o internet y luego haciéndose novios e incluso casándose.

Prácticamente todas las personas que estén en Barcelona que quieran usar el sistema de Bicing

pueden hacerlo porque es muy fácil y muy barato. Solamente cuesta €24 subscribirse y poder

usarlo. Está pensado sobre todo para que lo usen personas que quieren o necesitan usar el

transporte público.

No ha sido creado como algo recreativo sino como algo que se puede combinar con otros

transportes públicos así que los turistas no pueden usarlo como entretenimiento. Tampoco puedes

usarlo si no tienes la tarjeta de usuario. A estos hay que añadir los que tienen alguna minusvalía

física. Tampoco creo que pueda usarlo la gente que no hace deporte en general o están enfermos

porque se cansarían mucho y quizá no llegarían a donde quieren ir, sobre todo si están en una

zona con muchas montañas y cuestas.

Me parece que la mayor desventaja es el costo del vandalismo y de robos y lo que cuesta

mantener las bicis. El texto dice que no ha sido tanto como en otros lugares pero eso no quiere

decir que no cueste mucho dinero. Probablemente el gasto todavía es muy alto.

La otra cosa que me parece que puede ser un problema es que si llueve mucho en la

ciudad o hace mucho frío, la gente no va a usar este tipo de transporte porque a nadie le

gusta andar en bici cuando no hace buen tiempo. Además, nadie quiere llegar a ver a sus

amigos todo mojado si has estado montando en bici bajo la lluvia. No creo que la gente lo

use entonces.

Alternative answer for Question Two

En Barcelona había problemas de transporte y el Ayuntamiento comenzó el sistema Bicing de

préstamo de bicicletas para solucionarlo. Al poco tiempo, tenía muchísimos usuarios.

Usando la página web pagas un dinero y una vez que tienes tu tarjeta ya puedes usar las bicis. En

esta página web puedes encontrar la información necesaria para usar el sistema. Es muy barato.

Los que usan las bicis dicen que son muy buenas y prácticas y que las puedes usar a todas horas.

Dicen que es ecológico y que no hay problemas de atascos.

El Ayuntamiento promociona este sistema como complemento de otros transportes públicos y no

quiere que se use como algo recreativo. Ha habido algunos problemas con gente rompiendo las

bicis pero menos que en otros países. El Ayuntamiento paga todos los arreglos.

Hoy en día el Bicing se ha convertido en una parte importante de la vida en Barcelona.

Las ventajas obvias de tener una cuenta en Facebook son muchas. Puedes contactar con otras

personas, con familiares con los que hace mucho que no hablabas, con amigos que viven lejos,

comenzar nuevas relaciones, socializarte desde casa, ser parte de la fiesta social, pasar el tiempo

distraído, ser quien quieras ser porque puedes cambiar tu identidad sin que nadie lo sepa y nadie

te puede discriminar por dinero, raza o creencias.

A pesar de esto, las desventajas también son evidentes ya que siempre se pueden encontrar las

dos caras de la moneda. Si dejas el perfil abierto, cosa que no es muy inteligente, puede haber

anónimos contactando contigo o gente con la que no te interesa hablar. También, dependiendo de

lo que tengas en tu página, empresas en las que estás pidiendo trabajo pueden usar información

en tu contra a la hora de darte o no empleo.

Incluso sin dejar el perfil abierto hay desventajas. Uno puede malgastar muchísimo tiempo.

Hay demasiados juegos y demasiadas personas con las que hablar y multitud de fotos que

personas muchas veces no son quienes dicen que son y los que no mienten sobre su identidad

suelen mentir sobre su vida o al menos no decir toda la verdad suprimiendo las partes que no

se consideran populares o divertidas. Tampoco uno es capaz de leer el lenguaje corporal ni

interpretar los cambios de tonalidad por lo que se pueden malinterpretar muchas cosas.

Por un lado, creo que sí porque uno puede hablar sin inhibiciones gracias a la anonimidad que el

ordenador te da. Así se llegan a compartir secretos que de otro modo no compartirías.

También hay que tener en cuenta que puedes hablar con gente de otros países y otras culturas

que son muy interesantes y que no conocerías de otro modo, gente con la que puedes conectar y

que si no fuera por la distancia, probablemente seríais muy amigos.

En Facebook no tienes la limitación del tiempo que se tiene con los teléfonos o en la vida real.

Con los teléfonos porque te saldría demasiado caro hablar tanto tiempo y en la vida real porque

tus padres no te dejarían estar con tus amigos tantas horas como las que puedes estar en

Facebook. Facebook no tiene horario, no cierra ni duerme y si no estás chateando, tienes la

capacidad de seguir conociendo a la persona a través de sus fotos o de lo que ha escrito en su

pared virtual. Para conocer a alguien, de hecho, no necesitas ni que la persona esté presente

porque su información siempre lo está. Con el tiempo a tu favor, uno puede llegar a conocer a las

personas bien y así hacer una amistad muy profunda.

El hecho de que no prejuzgas a las personas y las dejas ser como son, ayuda a la amistad. El no

saber si alguien es rico o pobre, religioso o ateo etc, da la oportunidad a todos de mostrarse tal y

como son y eso ayuda a hacer amistades.

En esta red social también pueden verse muchísimas fotos y videos de la gente, algo que los

amigos del día a día quizá no vean, ya que no es algo que se hace en un encuentro normal, pero

una persona en Facebook puede ver todas tus fotos de las vacaciones de tus últimos 10 años si

es que están colgadas y eso te da un entendimiento mayor de la persona y de su historia.

Por otro lado, hay que ser consciente de que uno nunca puede estar seguro de que la persona

con la que se habla es realmente la persona que dice que es. A menudo se ve en las noticias

cómo alguien de 40 años se hacía pasar por un joven de 16 para hacer amistad con gente de

esa edad. Incluso, no hay que llegar a esos extremos. Gente de nuestra propia edad se inventa

Quizá sea reiterar lo obvio, pero lo primero que hay que decir es que es la gente que se encuentra

en Barcelona la que puede usar este sistema ya que es el lugar donde se ha implementado. Para

poder utilizarlo, también hay que hacer la subscripción en la web así que sólo las personas con

acceso a internet podrán disfrutar del Bicing.

Aunque los turistas podrían en teoría aprovecharlo, en realidad no está pensado para ellos sino

que la intención es que se use como medio de transporte público, no como modo recreativo.

También, a la vista de lo que se explica en el texto uno puede deducir que las personas con

minusvalías físicas no podrían beneficiarse de este sistema, ni tampoco los ancianos y la gente

que no sabe andar en bici. A estos también habría que añadir las familias con niños muy jóvenes

o bebés, personas que tienen que transportar muchas cosas, como por ejemplo jóvenes con

muchos libros o alguien que viene de viaje con sus maletas. A parte de estos sectores, todos los

demás nombrados en el párrafo anterior podrían usarlo.

Creo que la mayor desventaja sería el alto costo a la hora de implantar el sistema y el costo de

mantenerlo ya que me parece que, teniendo en cuenta que las bicis, viendo la foto, van a estar al

aire libre siempre, habrá un alto índice de averías tanto por el uso como por el tiempo, por lo tanto,

el ayuntamiento probablemente tendría que gastar mucho dinero en su reparación o simplemente

mantenimiento, hasta el punto de que quizá llegue a perder dinero.

Otra desventaja puede ser que al llegar a una estación en particular, no haya bicicletas para

alquilar y por tanto la eficacia del transporte no sería fiable. Esto no pasa con otros medios de

transporte público donde se sabe que siempre va a haber a tu disposición un autobús, un metro o

un tren.

También, como he comentado anteriormente, está la limitación en el número de personas que

puede utilizar el sistema. Otra cosa es que, como la única forma de informarse sobre el sistema

y conseguir los bonos es por medio de la tecnología informática, eso supondría que muchas

personas de una edad un poco avanzada y con pánico o simplemente manía a los ordenadores,

no podrían utilizarlo. A estos habría que añadir también las personas que simplemente no tienen el

dinero para tener o acceder a internet.

Otra desventaja del Bicing es que en caso de accidente, la posibilidad de heridas e incluso

muerte, es mucho mayor para las personas que utilizan motos o bicis que para los que usan

cualquier otro medio de transporte.

Por último, también hay que tener en cuenta que, aunque andar en bici siempre es agradable

cuando hace buen tiempo, no tendría mucho éxito en los días de lluvia, de frio, o en general los

días de mal tiempo, sea invierno o verano.

El Bicing es un sistema de préstamo de bicis que se inició hace no mucho en Barcelona con la

intención de arreglar los problemas de transporte y de tráfico que había. Es un sistema que una

vez que tienes la tarjeta de abonado, es sencillo de usar y es barato. Toda la información se puede

encontrar en la Web hecha para este propósito.

A los usuarios de este sistema no solamente parece que les gusta, sino que además alaban sus

ventajas y asimismo hay que admitir que es ecológico.

El Ayuntamiento lo ha creado y lo anuncia como complemento a los otros medios de transporte

público. Las averías no son tantas como se puede pensar en un principio y las repara el

Ayuntamiento.
