Catholic Facts—Did you know? There are more than 1 billion Catholics in the world, in all five continents. They are particularly concentrated in southern Europe, the US, the Philippines, and the countries of Central and South America. What binds them to-gether is a belief in Jesus Christ and obedience to the papacy.

YOUR TITHING IS VERY APPRECIATED! Just like all of you having expenses in your daily life, we too at Most Holy Trinity are trying to manage our operating expenses. As many of you are aware, our operating expenses are approximately $14,000 a week and we take in around $9,000 a week from collections. We have recently been blessed with the Jim Click raffle that has allowed us to buy much needed updated audio and video equipment for our church and Guadalupe hall. We sincerely thank all of you that have purchased those raffle tickets! However, we continually face numerous operating expenses such as electric, gas, water bills, staffing costs, soup patrol supplies, new air-conditioner units, additional funds needed for repaving our parking lot, grounds maintenance, and needed electrical updates. It is very difficult to ask parishioners to consider increasing their weekly or monthly tithing to our church, but it is sometimes necessary. The good news is, it doesn't take a lot to help MHT get ahead of our expenses. If 300 parishioners would regularly increase donations by just $5.00 a weekend ($20 a month), we would have an additional $1500 a week and $6000 a month to help us offset our expenses. That would be a huge help for our budget! That is equivalent to one drink at Starbucks, a value meal from McDonalds, a drink and snack from your local gas station, or a few items from a vending machine. And if increasing your tithing isn’t possible, we are always in need of more volunteers! “Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” John 3:18.

THANK YOU! Update! Our Audio/Visual Project “Phase One” is complete with the replacement of our projectors in the church and it has greatly enhanced our liturgies! Thank you to all who’ve responded so generously through our fundraising. We are continuing with “Phase Two” to update the sound sys-tem in the Hall and repair equipment in the church. Currently, our cry-room is musically “quiet” as the wiring and speaker isn’t working because of age. Our mixer in the music area for the entire church has four channels that no longer work – it is starting to be unreliable. The sound system in Guadalupe Hall is currently being powered by the two speakers we use for outdoor liturgies and events, which is only a temporary band-aid. The system in-stalled for the Hall has blown 3 of the 4 amplifiers and three fourths of the ceiling speakers. Our Hall is an integral part of our parish where we hold classes, liturgies, meetings, community events and rentals. Thank you for continuing to help keep our church and facilities a wonderful place to worship, celebrate and be community!
